Next we have the cutest little  Mouse Sprite that I coloured with copics, the wallpaper is a First Edition paper, the skirting board mouse hole paper is from Grace Taylor Blossom , I got the frame and bird cage from The Craft Box, the frame came in a chalky white colour so I rubbed it over with some gold gilding wax and computer generated the Home Sweet Home text.From the

Moustache Valentine

Hi there, how are you getting on with your Valentine cards, I've managed to get 15 done for my local shop , so I'm quite pleased with that. Hubby and I don't send Valentine's cards, been married 42 years and it's something we have never done, we tell each other how much we love them every day, so I guess it works for us, plus it is only a few days away from our joint birthday.

If I did send him a card it would definitely be this one, he would love a moustache as wonderous  as this one. he he.

The image is an old one from Lisa at Twistoon called Heart Moustache but I believe it has been discontinued now , I coloured it with copics and the papers came free with Making Cards magazine.

Hi there, I was commissioned to make a 14th Birthday card for a friends Granddaughter, she is horse jumping  crazy  and I happened to find this amazing Digi from Hetty Clare, I thought this one Pony Jump was just perfect, I also bought another one Pony Mischief ready for next year. I didn't put her age on the front incase she wanted to use it as art in her bedroom.

Yay, it's December, November was an awful month for me so I'm hoping for better this month, and it's of to a good start  with this months new releases from All dressed up stamps, I got to play with this wonderful image Chritmas-ballerinas But as the advert goes a ballet dancer is not just for Christmas. I coloured her with copics used First Edition paper, snow glitter, lace Glitter paper snowflakes, gems and tulle with a charm, the frame die is from tattered lace.

Christmas Robin Delight

Hi there, I thought I would share a card I made today, it's using an image called Christmas Robin Delight, it's a fairly old image and when I went to the site ladybug crafts ink I found it has ceased trading, such a shame as Kerry was a marvelous artist.

I coloured with copics, used a bit of glitter on the birdhouse roof and ground, glossy accents on the holly berries, paper and sentiment was out my bit bin and some pearls that I coloured red with a copic.

Hello, something a little different from me today, this is a card I made for my Daughter in laws Birthday,no colouring involved. he he, the papers are from The Works, corner die is a Tim Holtz and the butterflies I can't remember because, in my wisdom I took my dies out of their packaging and stuck them to my craft room door with magnetic sheets, I know not very clever but a great space saving device, I just wished I had took photos of them in their packaging first .

The stamped sentiment is a Paper Smooches called Magic Sampler and I've included a sprinkling of gems around it.

Christmas is Coming

Where oh where has October gone................

I just cannot believe it is November, I have so much work left to do for this year!

But at least this challenge has made me get a Christmas card finished, I seriously think I'm going to have to do the unthinkable...Buy some cards....No, did I think that or say it out loud.

Robo Christmas

Hi there, I have finally managed another Christmas card, CAS that seems to be my style for this Christmas ha ha, I've used a very old digi from Tiddly Inks called Roboto

who said a Robot was just for Birthdays, I thought if I coloured him in Christmas colours he would make a perfect boys card. The Son embellishment is a chipboard one that I coloured and then used glossy accents on it.

Here is  Kitsune Sprite, Mitzi has informed me that  "kitsune" is fox in Japanese. People in the west (mostly the anime and Japanese culture fans) tend to use kitsune for the multi-tailed fox spirit of the Japanese folklore (not everything is cuddly or cute, as 'spirit' can be more of a demon than a friendly ghost).

So you live and learn.

I have coloured with copics, used Basic Grey pyrus paper and the sentiment was a freebie.

New Home

Hi there, well it's a very wet Sunday afternoon here, so I'm upstairs playing in my craft room. 

When I was a young girl (many many years ago now) when it was raining so hard that the raindrops were bouncing in the puddles, my Mum always announced "It's colouring book weather, get your pens out" so I need no excuse to do the same today.

This is a card I made for a friends daughter, Helen and her partner Justin have just moved into their new home together. I have had this stamp for years it's called Crowns and Castles 4 from paperartsy I believe it's been discontinued now as I couldn't find it on their website.

Autumn

Hi there, well I don't know about where you live, but Autumn has certainly arrived here on the East Coast, the ADU facebook challenge  this month is all about 

"Autumn or Halloween"

So you have a choice, we don't really celebrate Halloween so I opted for the Autumn theme.

I used one of the three-little-autumn-girls and also the Autumn-papers-1 collection, I coloured her with copics and added a few dots in the corner that I got from Anna at The craft box uk the sentiment as a freebie from a magazine. I doodled round the edge of the image with a fine liner.

Angel of Remembrance

Hi there, Mitzi is spoiling us with two Angels of Remembrance 1 & 2 they are both amazing.

Angel of Remembrance 2 I went for Summer colours, as just this week I've noticed the leaves changing colour and there is a lot of leaf litter on the ground, I don't think I'm quite ready for Autumn yet. The papers are again from Anna Marie Designs, I must say this is one of my most used paper books I got it in green and beige, love them both, you can't see much of it but there is a strip of lace across the bottom, flowers an gems from my stash.

Seb’s first Birthday

Hello, and welcome to my new followers, I'm always excited to see that number going up.

This card is a super special one, it was my youngest grandchild's first birthday last week. Baby Sebastian, Seb for short, was one and he is growing into an amazing little boy. That's four fantastic Grandchildren I have, I feel so blessed, I was often told there is no love like a Nannar's and it's so true, once you hold them in your arms, that's it everything evolves around making sure they are happy, and how many Nannar cuddles you can get in before they run off.

Party Frock
