Another Sugar Nellie

Hi there, since looking through my Sugar Nellie stamp box I'm falling in love with them all over again, this is one of my favorites Leanne Ellis, Falling in love 

I coloured her with copics , papers are Santoro Mirabelle and First Edition, ribbon from stash, Marianne header die, memory box flower die, pearls and a pearl slider, spellbinder scallop rectangle, John Adams leaves die and a Tim Holtz sentiment ticket.

Why is it when you have a week of work it takes another two before your back in the swing of things. 

It seems to be taking ages for me to settle back into work I keep clock watching which is really bad as it makes the days drag, Oh well maybe tomorrow will be better.

Wedding

Evening, I can't believe its the weekend again, where do the weeks go ? never mind the weeks where has this year gone, my son and DIL got married on Sept 20th last year and its almost there 1st wedding anniversary, so I've made them this card to celebrate, not very lovey but they dont like anything sloppy.

Its made using the Sugar Bowl sketchand the "please include option" is pink and brown.

I used K&Co papers with distress in around the edges, I've also used two of the manga kids and coloured them with copics, matted them with my nesties, used prima flowers and brads ad ribbon tape from my stash. Oh yes I almost forgot i embossed the circle with a cuttlebug folder.

Morning, thought I'd quickly post this challenge this morning before I carry on trying to put some order back in my Bats Cave. I found a corner last night and had a little play, but I can't for the life of me find my glitter glue, can remember moving it but not sure where, had to pinch some of hubbies wood glue,rofl,

Did three challenges on this card used the sketch from SS and only just realised it was supposed to be a birthday card for Heidi, sorry Heidi how about an early Christmas card instead, that'll teach me to right everything down and not just the sketch. CI wanted Blue/Brown love this colour combo but not to sure for a Chrissy card. PE gave us a recipe 2 squares, 1 ribbon and something that sparkles.

Used a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Copics, MME papers, brown Bazill, nesties, MS snowflake punch and glitter, ribbon and gems from my stash.

Have a fun sunday might be back later, depends how good I am at organising,

Evening, I really enjoyed this sketch from Friday Sketchers, and its a one off, just the one challenge didn't feel like combining tonight. I've used one of my new fave manga kids stamps from sugar nellie, the papers were freebies in a magazine from a few years ago now (really must have a clear out, but you never know when they might be needed) bazill cardstock, nesties and paper flowers,oh yes and a retro daisy punch. Were off out tomorrow night so I wont be back untill Sunday. Hope you all have a great weekend. I've just got time to do a bit of hopping before bed. Bye.

Evening, ohhh it is so hot, or is it just my age, lol, thought I'd use this gorgeous manga girl, coloured her with my copics, used 7 gypsies paper,prima flower 1 pearl brad and 2 tiny ones in her hair and bit of lace out of my sewing box.
The sketch is from the super Maggie over at Sunday sketch & stamp, the DT wedding cards are all super. Daring cardmakers wanted us to use lace and i found this scrap of green it was about 2 inches wide so i cut it in half , the sentiment is from whif of joy.
My new Canson manga art board came today so I'm hoping to have a play with it tomorrow when i get back from my salsasize class , aparently you can burn up to 500 calories in a 1 hour class, I must say when i come out of there i feel like I've used 2,000. lol, so unfit, but i am trying. Hope to be back tomorrow

Evening, I managed to finish a couple of cards I'd already started tonight:) my bat cave is upstairs in the dormer bedroom and the afternoon and evening sun comes straight through my window , which is lovely in winter but unbearable in the summer. But I've got a fan talar its great, my dogs love it aswell, I thought if I'd do a Xmas card it would cool me down a bit aswell.
This is my juggling snowman from sugar nellie, coloured with my copics a mixture of papers from last years stash. I used the sketch from I heart to stamp. I'll try and leave a link but this site doesn't like me for some reason I always have probs, Take care

Hi, well my internet crashed on Sat night and I've been on the BT helpline since then, I phoned a computer shop in Skeg, he is brill , and was all set to take my laptop in this morning. Thought I'd give it one last try and wholla it worked, I don't think I will ever understand computers.lol. So this is the card I finished on Sunday, the wonderfull Jill over on Sat Challenge gave us a lovely sketch, my snow couple fitted it well, it is a fairly large stamp from Sugar nellie so not many sketchers lend themselves to it. I coloured with my copics, matted with my nesties, added a few jellytots and stickles and its done thats four xmas cards I've got done this year, 4 more than last and a long way from what I need. lol. Think I might have to do a few more xmas challenges.

Evening all, just a quicky tonight as I've got some invoices to type up yet, no rest for the wicked. I've used a great sketch from PE and SWF wanted pearls I even found a mother of pearl heart i used as a tag for my sentiment. and ROP wanted hearts , so my pearls are hearts. I've used K&Co paper a new Sugar nellie stamp only inked twice, my copics and nesties. should be back on Friday so see you then.

Hi there, I hope youve all had a lovely weekend, mines been great, had the afternoon in my bat cave and got a bit more tidying up done. This is one of my new stamps i got from funky kits, shes so unusual, I think this card fits three challenges, SCSC wants 2 DP 3 buttons 1 ribbon, I made the buttons out of some acrylic flowers.Copic wanted us to use R35, YG63 & YR04 I dont have YR04 so i just used the other two,and there is a lovely sketch on sketch sat. I've used K&Co papers, copics,just pots flower buttons and a sugar nellie.

Hiya, back again this is my second card today and its for two challenges Stamp something, as it has butterflies and little dickie birds on and the sketch is from Friday sketchers, I thought this card was quite summery (is that a proper word?) with the flowered DP and her summery clothes. Quite ironic since weve had thunder storms and hail stones today, we had some deliveries to do at work and it was trying to time them in between showers. Got a bit of a countdown starting today just one week and I'm on holiday, Yahooo, well ready for a break , been a right shitty year so far so need to recharge the old batteries,

Right going to have my last cup of tea and get ready for bed now , see you on Sunday hopefully.

Hiya hope everyone is well, I'm really pleased my new manga kids stamp arrived this morning so I just had to ink her up, great stamp, not happy with the colouring though i was a bit rushed , must do better.lol. I've entered this card for the sugar bowl challenge they wanted us to include ribbon and bows.

Hello there, I can't believe it two cards this week, must be doing something right. lol. not really I've hid my ironing again. There is a wonderful sketch over on the Sugar Bowl challenge and the "please include" is to use Kraft colour or brown and cream, my cream is more of an apricot, but I hope it counts as the prize is the new Gorguss girlz 3, so I've used my brand new stamp, never been inked before , gorguss girl thought it might be a good omen, coloured her with my copics and used prima flowers, K&Co paper, nesties and the ribbon and brad is from my stash. Hello, I just love this sugar nellie stamp, custard, and with Stampavie challenge of black and yellow it just had to come out, I also used a Little Claire daisy stamp on the background. Another quicky tonight as I have to get my stuff ready for tomorrows workshop at The Hobby House, with Bev Rochester, so looking forward to it well worth the forty mile drive.

Evening, well I thought I would have a go at a new challenge site I found called Stamptacular Sunday, link at bottom of post, and they wanted us to include a bird on our card. So I used my Leanne Ellis stamp Talking to the birds, K&Co paper, ribbon fom stash and prima flower. I coloured her with my prismas and I went a bit over the top with my chalk, it isn't quite as dark as that in real life. Had a very relaxing day with family and friends, and to top it off we had a chinese for tea hmmmmmmmm I shall now drink at least 3 pints of water and be up all night weeing, but its worth it.lol. Hope to be back tomorrow.

Hiya, well I don't know how I managed it but I've done four challenges in one card, firstly My time to craft wanted us to use nature as our subject, I think Porridge from Sugar Nellie certainly fits that bill, then the colour scheme Cupcake gave us three options brown + pink, brown + blue or brown + green, I used papers from Making Memories Cosmopolitan collection. Over at Pink Elephant they wanted us to use buttons somewhere on the card, they are out of my stash. Lastly the wonderfull sketch this week is from Friday Sketchers by the taleted Carole, I really enjoyed this sketch that i turned on its side. Hope to be back on Friday as MIL is coming for tea tomorrow night. Bye for now.

SCSC, Sketch Saturday

Hiya, well this is the first time I've managed to do two challenges from one card, The sketch is from Sketch Saturday, you should see the wonderful cards the DTs have done and the winner gets some great stamps from Pollycraft. Good evening, hope you have had a good day . I have used an early birthday present here, my hubby brought me the Leanne Ellis set of stamps from Sugar Nellie, this one is called Luvvie and isn't she just, so is my gorgeous hubby, I coloured her with my prismas and sansador and the papers are from an old pack of HOTP I found the other night, the flowers are from my sisters craft shop Krazy Krafters, thank you for taking the time to look, hope to be back tomorrow.

Craft Stamper Challenge

Hiya, hope everyone is well, my sister owns a craft shop in a village about 10 miles away, unfortunetly she is not very well so I'm afraid I've got to spend a full day in a craft shop tomorrow, stroking papers to my hearts content. lol.
Here is a card I made using the Craft Stamper Magazine challenge, its their first one and I think its a great idea, I've used Rory from sugar nellie and coloured it with my prismas, papers are from HOTP and buttons from my stash, the greeting stamp was a freebie from Craft Stamper.
