I coloured with copics, Spun sugar distress ink for the edges, My Minds Eye Stella and Rose paper, die cut sentiment and flowers from my stock.

Just hangin' with my Gnomie

Well what a start to the year, I decided, in my wisdom, to take up the carpet in my craft room and replace it with vinyl tiles, my thoughts being it would be easier to clean.

I pulled up the first bit, and decided to work my way around the room in sections, since it is full to bursting and i had no wear to store it, first bit went great, then to move my big heavy desk in front of the window, carpet was wet through plus a lot of papers, turns out we had a leak in the roof, so it was a good job i did it . Anyway two weeks later it still hasn't dried out enough for me to carry on with the floor, so I decided to rip the wall paper off instead. Ooops, good job I've not had much DT  work on this month.

In Between this I've made a Valentines card using  Valentines-day-tomte-gnome-hearts from the amazing Faery Ink shop, I coloured him with copics, used My Minds Eye Dilly Dally paper, and a computer generated sentiment.

Chrysanthemum, Harvest and Maple Sprites

We have three amazing new sprites for you this month , Mitzi from Aurora Wings has been really busy, I just can't pick a favorite they are all mega cute. Take a look at my teamies work at Aurora wings showcase blog

First off we have Chrysanthemum-Sprite that I coloured with copics, the papers I have had for about ten years, they are the ones you keep to just sit and look at, well my craft room is so full I thought I really should use some of my special papers ( to make room for the new he he) the peacock was a plain brass colour so I rubbed it with gilding wax, coloured the wings with copics and then applied crystal lacquer to them, the eye is a red gem.

Next we have  Harvest-Sprite coloured with copics, the papers are from Basic Grey called Pyrus, I must say this is one of my faves with the muted colour palette, I cut a few leaf sprigs from Kraft and coloured with Distress ink.

Four New Sprites from Aurora Wings

Well I hope you sitting comfortable as this is a really long post, lots of piccy's for you to see.

Mitzi at Aurora Wings has brought out four new garden sprites for you to play with, I really am so honored to be on the DT for Mitzi, so much fun playing with these amazing images. You can see all the designs my wonderful teamies have created at The Showcase.blog

This is Buttercup Sprite

She was coloured with copics, papers are from Echo Park For the Record, 

paper flowers from my stash, bird and bee was made from paper clay and the Dew-Drops are from Chunky Monkey

I decided to make her into an easel card, haven't made one for ages and I was having so much fun,

I coloured with copics, used First Edition Mulberry Kisses paper, the sentiments was a freebie of a magazine years ago, I made the flowers using the same papers, ribbon and gems from my stash.

from my stash, frame was out of a sale bin at a show I went to, you got four frames for 50p I really wish I had bought more I only have one left and they are the perfect size, I used a rub on for my sentiment and a paper clay bird.

Penguin family

Hi there, I have a family of penguins for you today, I love this image from all dressed up stamps and

this one is called  Christmas penguins. I coloured them with copics, 3D laquered the beaks, buttons and feet, glittered the snow, papers are My Mines Eye Mistletoe Magic, that I distressed the edges of a piece of twine and Joy charm finish it off.

Evening, hope you are keeping well, I've had a grotty cough and sore throat, but its getting better, just inked up my duck stamp for the first time pressie from my son mwhaa. Its from Whimsy stamps and I coloured with my copics, used my minds eye papers and orange eyelets a hero arts sentiment and fiskars border punch.

Snowflake

Morning, thought I'd quickly post this challenge this morning before I carry on trying to put some order back in my Bats Cave. I found a corner last night and had a little play, but I can't for the life of me find my glitter glue, can remember moving it but not sure where, had to pinch some of hubbies wood glue,rofl,

Did three challenges on this card used the sketch from SS and only just realised it was supposed to be a birthday card for Heidi, sorry Heidi how about an early Christmas card instead, that'll teach me to right everything down and not just the sketch. CI wanted Blue/Brown love this colour combo but not to sure for a Chrissy card. PE gave us a recipe 2 squares, 1 ribbon and something that sparkles.

Used a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Copics, MME papers, brown Bazill, nesties, MS snowflake punch and glitter, ribbon and gems from my stash.

Have a fun sunday might be back later, depends how good I am at organising,

Amazing

Evening, I had my dogs stripped today they look soooo gorgeous just like puppies again, its strange how having shorter coats makes their eyes look bigger, I'll try and get a photo tomorrow. Thought I would try the new challenge over at Anyone for anya, its a new site and this is there fist challenge and the theme is "Sugar and spice and all things nice" well I think all Anyas are so that wasn't difficult. Cute Daiy wanted Blue and Green, I love these colours together even if they shouldn't be seen. Sketch and stash gave us another gorgeous sketch and my something new is the sentiment stamp I got in a set from The Hobby House they are by Whif of Jooy.

I've used MME papers, nestie, Ek punches, prima flowers, copics, the rest from my stash, I also put some 3D laquer on the sunglasses.

Hiya well Ive finally caught up with my cards, this one has turned out better than i thought it would, the sketch is by Jeanette over at Friday sketchers, it never fails to amaze me how small the world becomes when you are on the internet, here i am doing a sketch by Jeanette in Canada!!! it was a lovely sketch thank you. Colour create wanted pink, orange and green i was going to go for citrus shades but then opted for a mmore pastel shade, which I'm pleased with. Cute card thrs wanted fruity these stamps from WOJ are certainly fruity and i also added a cherry charm, i used my copics to colour MME and K&Co papers with pink bazill some green pearls pink flowers from my sister and prima larger flower EK flower and border punches. those border punches are amazing they go through quite thick card like butter. i love them.
Having a great holiday now my internets back.
