Hi there, here is a card I made using Pink Ink Designs stamps, they stamp out so beautifully for a large stamp, this one is called Mel's Angel isn't he a character?

I coloured him with copics used paper from the Works at a bit of glossy accents on his glasses and lights, a bit of stencilling on the background with distress inks.

Well I've finally managed to have a play with a set of stamps I bought from JMC Designs Art Etsy shop this is Poppy one of the crazy-chick-collection the sentiment is also from the same shop, if your looking for quirky then this is the place to be.

Rick Father's Day

Well hello, I have a rather different Father's Day card here, you have to cater for all tastes, this is one of my fave images from Rick St Dennis I have had this image years and I do use it quite a lot, it's called Euro clown with balloon that I coloured with copics, the papers are from HOTP and I made the sentiment myself on the computer, his eyes and balloons are lacquered so they stand out.

Zodiac Sprites

What a bumper blog post I have for you today!!!

Mitzi from Aurora Wings ha designed the first four of the Zodiac signs, how amazing is that ?

I decided to make them up into a set, using the same colours and papers on each, they are all coloured with copics, the backing paper is from The Works and is called Magic Moments, it's a 12 by 12 pad and was only £3 for 24 double sided paper (although it's as thick as card) and I have used it on loads of projects, I really must pop back and see if they have any more. New Home

Hello, I have a new home card to share with you today, some young friends of ours have just bought they first house together, 

I bought these stamps second hand off Ebay , so I'm not sure which company they are from, but I love them, there was four houses in the set. I stamped with Memento black, coloured with copics and popped a silver key in the corner, the text was a magazine freebie.

Tree Goblin

Hi there, I thought I would share a new stamp I bought from Sincerely Yours a couple of weeks back, in fact I bought four so keep your eye out for the others, It's from a company called Pink Ink Designs and this delicious character is The Tree Goblin, I just love this stamp, it is fairly big and stamps perfect first time, lovely and crisp. ADU Summer Tortoises

It's new release time at All dressed up stamps and I was lucky enough to get to play with Summer Tortoises, aren't they just the most cutest, adorable tower of loveliness. 

I decided to stick with a limited colour palette for this one, and it could be a card for any occasion or recipient, I nearly put googly eyes on them , but changed my mind at the last minute.

Hi, we have a new FaceBook challenge for you starting today, and the theme is,

"YOUR FAVORITE COLOUR"

I must say at the moment I'm loving Chartreuse, I'm not normally a green person, but this is quite zingy, and it stands out really well against the night sky I created using Distress Inks, the glitter card is from B&M and the best I've ever used, I just wish there was more colours. I coloured with copics, a gel pen on the LOVE word and tiny gems on the stars, I thought this would make a cracking Father's Day card from a little one, so it's destined to go to the shop I supply.

Hi there everyone, long time no speak, I'm sorry I've not been about much, I've been quite poorly and had a stay in hospital, then once I was out I had no interest at all in crafting.

 But I'm slowly getting back to normal and I even managed an Easter card using Easter tea party from All Dressed Up stamps

Hunkydory Crafts goodies

Hi there, I would like to share with you some goodies that Hunkydory crafts sent me this week, I must admit it isn't a shop I ever visited, except at craft fairs, but I was totally amazed at the amount and variety of goodies on their website, I was spoilt for choice.

 I was really impressed with the quality of the For the love of Masks, I chose Beautiful Baroque Swirls, it will be perfect for both Male and female cards, you can grunge it up with pastes, pretty it up with glitter or use your inks, really good quality plastic that doesn't buckle when using really thick paste, like on my first card, and it cleans up really easy, i used a stipple brush with my ink and it never lifted once, gorgeous

 This is the first time that I have ever used Moonstone dies, I used Pretty Poinsettia, a really good size the largest petals are 8cm and the smallest 4cm they were a pleasure to use , cut first time everytime even with thick pearl paper and they embossed with the first cut as well.So pretty and a Poinsettia is for everyday not just for Christmas, it looks totally different in the glitter card to the white.

 You can never have enough swirls can you, I particularly liked the look of these as they had little leaves on, and being frugal thought I could snip these off to put in with my flowers, they did take two passes to cut the thick pearl card but the Kraft card and Glitter card cut first time so was very pleased with that. Sumptuous swirls Product codeSDMDSS £6.79

 How often do you get carried away when making cards, adding a bit of this and that , get it finished and wham, doesn't fit the envelope anymore, these Card Boxes are just perfect, just over 6x6 and half an inch deep they are not over the top, easy to put together with a bit of double sided and wallah, 

 I used the  Beautiful baroque swirls mask then brushed  izink ink all over, layered on a bit of dotty card and added a few gems. If your selling your cards you can ask so much more for boxed cards and your not going to break the bank with these

Just hangin' with my Gnomie

Well what a start to the year, I decided, in my wisdom, to take up the carpet in my craft room and replace it with vinyl tiles, my thoughts being it would be easier to clean.

I pulled up the first bit, and decided to work my way around the room in sections, since it is full to bursting and i had no wear to store it, first bit went great, then to move my big heavy desk in front of the window, carpet was wet through plus a lot of papers, turns out we had a leak in the roof, so it was a good job i did it . Anyway two weeks later it still hasn't dried out enough for me to carry on with the floor, so I decided to rip the wall paper off instead. Ooops, good job I've not had much DT  work on this month.

In Between this I've made a Valentines card using  Valentines-day-tomte-gnome-hearts from the amazing Faery Ink shop, I coloured him with copics, used My Minds Eye Dilly Dally paper, and a computer generated sentiment.

On the plus side My Son Graduated and I got a new Grandson Sebastian all in the same month.

Christmas

Hiya, I've had a truly amazing weekend, both my Sons and their partners came home plus my four Grandchildren, it was a bit manic but perfect, each year we have an early Christmas at our house as the boys have to work, and each year we get a new grandchild, in fact we had to extend the dining table this year.

I thought I would share this couple of cards (no colouring) which doesn't happen very often.

 I used K&Co paper, a new medallion die of ebay, flowers and berries from the lace attic on facebook.

Papers were from First Edition, SnipArt from Craft Box flowers from Aliexpress, the berries are from the lace attic and a tiny bit of wood from the bush in my garden.
