Hippie Chick

 Hi there, it's time for a new challenge on ADU facebook groupand this months theme is

"Winged Things"

What a fun theme, I chose Hippie Chick to play with that I coloured with copics and a glitter pen, Background paper is Firefly collection from Prima, and a little chip it sentiment.

We have had a bank holiday in the UK this weekend and boy did we need that extra day, on Saturday we went to visit my youngest son and his family, they have just moved into a new house and we went to give it a once over, it is a gorgeous loads more room than they had before and just a 5 min walk to their school. On Sunday went to see my oldest son and his family as it was my youngest Grandsons third birthday, we had an indoor picnic, we bought him a Dinosaur dress up costume that roars and his eyes flash red, it went down a storm. Then today Monday we finally got the roof on the garden studio we are building in the garden, so at least it is now water tight in case it rains. I will be pleased to get back to work for a rest.

Duck Swim

Hi there, it's that time again, and this is one of my faves, the theme this month is 

" BE SQUARE"

As you have probably guessed by now I love my square cards, I do try occasionally to do a different shape, in fact a couple of weeks ago I ordered myself some DL dies, but I haven't plucked up courage to use them yet, I see everyone else's beautiful cards but when I sit in my craftroom I get no inspiration, guess a visit to pinterest is called for.

Well I have used all dressed up's new one called duck swim that I coloured with copics, and used Distress ink Salty Ocean, Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Evergreen Bough and Mermaid Lagoon for the background.

Father and Daughter

 Hiya, I was very honored to be asked to make two cards.

A friend in the village had not had contact with his daughter for over twenty years, and before lockdown they managed to reunite.

His lovely wife asked me to make them a card each, so that when the cards were placed side by side they made one picture, and this is what I came up with.

I  used Distress inks for the background and some Clarity stamps I've had for years for the foliage, the trees, deer and birds were cut out of black card with some dies, the stag is four layers deep as I wanted him to stand out a bit.

The customer loved them, she wrote her own messages inside.

Pool Party

Hi there it's time for some new releases at All Dressed Up etsy shop and I got to play with Pool party, isn't she adorable with her polka dot bikini and pineapple sun glasses. There is two more to look at also.

I coloured her with copics used Glossy Accents on her glasses, really old HOTP paper (I think) and some text strips. The weather is certainly not Pool Party weather here, we've had rain for a full week, I popped to see my Dad this morning (he's in my bubble) and the roads were treacherous

Hiya, can you believe we are in May already, and I'm not sure where you live but it's freezing here, it's forecast rain for the next 7 days, not what you need for a bank holiday weekend.

When I was a child and it was raining my Mum used to say "that's it colouring book weather, get your pens out" so I might just take her word for it. LOL

There is a new challenge on the ADU facebook page and the theme is Girly girls, I have used one of the three little party girls coloured with copics and Echo Park Birthday Wishes paper, the puffy text is from Rosie's Studio and the flowers from stash.

 Hi there, wow how quick the weather has changed, mini heatwave last week , snow this week, crazy!

One thing that hasn't changed is just how talented Wendy at All Dressed Up stamps is. It is new release day and we have three fantastic images Dog-walker, Birthday-girl and the one I got to play with Country-girl, they are all awesome. Stephy Aurora wings Unicorn sprite

 Hi there, it seems ages since I used an Aurora Wings image, it was my granddaughter Stephy's 5th Birthday this week and she absolutely adores unicorns, so this image Unicorn Sprite is just perfect.

The Covid restrictions have lifted here and we were able to see them, (the first time since last August) and deliver her birthday gifts, we also took there Christmas gifts as well, plus the Easter rabbit came, when we went for a walk she said it was the best Easter Ever.

I coloured with copics and made a shaker card back ground, the letters are a plain white chipboard that i coloured in, I thought it would make a nice picture for her bedroom.

Hi there, hope your all well. we have a new theme at the FaceBook All Dressed Up Challenge        and the theme for this month is "Use Embellishments" . My image is Piggy back and you can get it from the Etsy shop.  Hi there, it's new release day at All dressed up stamps and I got to play with Best Mummy a wonderful image, you could always swap the sentiment in the middle of the rosette and use it for any occasion, so well worth popping this one in your basket.

Easter Owl

 Hi there, well what  gorgeous weather this weekend, I even managed to get my washing dried outside, don't you just love sniffing your washing as you bring it in. (or is it just crazy lady here).

I just love this gorgeous Christmas owl image, and it is such an adaptable stamp you can use it for any occasion you can get it here ADU Etsy shop , I decided to use it as an Easter card, I coloured it with copics (I know I usually post my colours but I had a tidy up and threw them away) papers are from Joy Crafts called Owl's world, it's a computer generated sentiment and the eyes and beak have Glossy Accents.

Gone fishing

 Hiya, it was my husband and my joint birthday last week, so I would like to share the card I made for him. He loves fly fishing but at the moment we can't get out, due to lockdown, and so i teased him with this card. It's from a company called Power Poppy  and this one is fly-guy you get the image below and three sentiments as well. I coloured with my copics and used Papermania Mr Smiths workshop paper . He was delighted with it.

 Hello, it's time for the New Releases at ADU Etsy shop and I got to play with the awesome "Love Hearts"

image. I coloured with copics, added a bit of glossy accents on the hearts, glitter pen on the wings, the background I made using a stencil and Spun Sugar Distress Ink, text was a new stamp from Phil Martin Adorations.

Pretty (Easter) Bonnet

 

Hi there, well January soon came and went again, I can't believe we are into February already, we have been really lucky and managed to avoid the snow and floods, there is something to be said about living in the salty sea air.

Well the theme for this month is "Hearts and or Flowers" so plenty of scope there, I'm making a start on my Easter cards as I never seem to have enough and I have a feeling I will be needing more this year.
