Perfect for those Christmas cards, I have made all my cards for the shop I'm now starting on my own, got two made just another 32 to go, he he I think there may be a few bought ones in there somewhere, how about you ? have you finished yet?

This gorgeous image is Snowy-days that I coloured with copics, made a background with spun sugar distress ink, think the paper is either HOTP or DCWV as it's really old and that was my main supply back then, a scattering of gems, I'm not sure what make the die is as I got it second hand from ebay.

Lady Rose 1&2 Christmas wreath besties from Aurora Wings

We  have three wonderful new Aurora wings. images for you this month, two  Lady Rose images 1 and 2 then there is a so cute Christmas wreath with two Best friends. 

For Lady-Rose 1 I decided to go with winter colours blue and silver, that way I can use it for a Christmas card, she reminds me of an ice maiden in these colours, I coloured with copics, used perfect pearls with glitter, Craftwork cards paper, glitter card and some gems.

3 little different cards

Had time to have a little play today, made three cards with no colouring, 

am I feeling alright I hear you ask, I honestly don't know , but I really enjoyed myself, 

Craft room is an utter tip but that can wait for another day.

This one is using the new Christmas SnipArt kit from Craft Box.

I found an old picture for the frame paper was First edition, the metal sentiment

is from a big bag of them I bought about 8 years ago and I'm still using them up. Theres a mixture of dies and flowers with a touch of glitter.

A really simple pair here, paper was again from First Edition top one has a chipboard snowflake I painted with Imagination paint, theres a bit of sewing thread behind it and a rub on in the corner.

Below I used a Tim Holtz word die, some lace leaves from Marrina at The Lace Attic a facebook shop, some of the buds on the first card was from her, great shop if you need ribbons.

It sure is quicker than I ever imagined, have you got all your cards made yet?

I think I'm going to have to buy a box this year, hangs her head in shame, well just for people I don't really know, and they don't know I make cards, I love this image from All dressed up stamps it's called Snowy-days and is a really quick one to make.

I coloured the image with copics used Glossy Accents on his nose,eyes and buttons, the paper was free from Making cards magazine, the snowflakes from Anna at Craft Box a bit of glitter and a Rub on I found in the bottom of my drawer.

Jenson's 2nd Birthday

I've had a really great day today, it was my Grandson, Jenson's, second Birthday party,

He is such a character and so much like his father when he was that age.

His most favorite thing is the bin lorry, but unfortunately I didn't find a Digi for one of those, but he also loves tractors and farms so lucky for me I used la-la land's digital image Luka on his tractor, I'm afraid I can't find it on the site so it must have been discontinued.

I coloured it with copics  used Anna Marie card for the grass and a couple of Sissex dies for the clouds.

Chrysanthemum, Harvest and Maple Sprites

We have three amazing new sprites for you this month , Mitzi from Aurora Wings has been really busy, I just can't pick a favorite they are all mega cute. Take a look at my teamies work at Aurora wings showcase blog

First off we have Chrysanthemum-Sprite that I coloured with copics, the papers I have had for about ten years, they are the ones you keep to just sit and look at, well my craft room is so full I thought I really should use some of my special papers ( to make room for the new he he) the peacock was a plain brass colour so I rubbed it with gilding wax, coloured the wings with copics and then applied crystal lacquer to them, the eye is a red gem.

Afternoon folks, been playing catch up today, this is a card I made using my new stamp from C. C. Designs called Reindeer Lucy I bought it from dies to die for stall at the Sincerely Yours show last week. I coloured her with copics, used Dovecraft papers and a Peace die from Tim Holtz.

It's a wet and windy day here on the East coast of England, but I'm feeling lucky were not in the USA with there awful storms. I hope you enjoy what's left of the weekend. OOps I forgot to mention I used 3D laquer on the nose and lights.

First off we have Skull-and-Roses, I felt like it should be in a colour other than deep red for some reason, so I chose this lovely blue, I coloured with copics , papers are from HOTP really old ones,SnipArt swirls, Artos flowers with a few gems from my stash.

WOW, I'm so excited, one of my cards has been printed in the Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine issue 182 in the shops now. 

The article is featuring the amazing All Dressed Up stamps, the brief was Christmas card for a female so I chose Little Skater that I coloured with copics.

The papers are Gilded Winter with scraps from my bit box for the flowers and leaves, Centura pearl for matting, the sentiment was a magazine freebie, glitter, gems and ribbon from my stash, I also made a box to make it a bit special.

Christmas Bauble

Had a bit of time to play today, I 've been having a go at making my own baubles for Christmas, but I've a feeling this one will be going to my Granddaughters , its a bit girly.

I bought the blanks from AliExpress then painted them with Gesso, once dried I smooched them with Distress ink (seedless preserves) , the fairy I bought of a lady on Facebook a couple of years ago and covered with glitter, the sentiment is from Inkylicious, and the gems I stuck round the edges from Poundland, so a really, really cheap bauble.

Mixed media notebook

Hiya, Hubby and I have decided to do a craft fair, eeek, and I'm trying to make something useful to sell on the stall, apart from my cards. Hubby makes wood art, it's pretty amazing, I found this note book blank in The Works, it's finished in Kraft card.

So I gessoed the front stenciled the pattern with texture paste, the flower and leaves are metallic and come from Craft Box, once dry I coated with gesso again, then sprayed with glimmer mists and micro powders, finished of with a touch of wax. Really enjoyed playing with this so might do a few more. Hope they sell.

No colouring today

Evening everyone, hope you enjoyed your weekend, mine seems to have gone in a blink of the eye, been busy all weekend but can't see what I've done.

Been tidying in my Bat Cave and found this flower stuck in a pencil pot, don't ask I've no idea how it got there, but I'm so messy anything is possible. Well back to the flower, I thought it deserved to be made into a card, it is quite big so would drown any image I put with it so it became the focal point.

The paper is from an Anna Marie 12" by 12" pad, edged with olive distress pad, lace from stash, chipboard from Craft Box,stamens from eBay, leaves from ,I think, they are a Joy die and I dotted a few liquid pearls about.
