Fathers Day

Hi there, thought I'd better get a move on with my Fathers Day Cards, four done six left, 

Been so busy lately hope I get them all done.

I'm not very technical and only just realized I can listen to music on You Tube and blog at the same time, so Paul Carrack is getting a blast tonight, I saw him at our local theater not having heard much about him, now I'm hooked he has such an easy voice to listen to.

Anyway heres my card using a great digi from I'm not sure where, if anyone knows can you let me know so I can credit them, and I can also update my folders, 

Coloured with copics, the windows and lights are3D laquered, papers are Grace Taylor playtime, ribbon from stash, sentiment Personal impressions, memory box slider and a little wooden bird I coloured with my copics as well.

Just for fun

Hi there everyone, and a big welcome to my new followers mwah

Had a little play yesterday, just for fun, well to be honest I noticed that Mo's Dream Team are having a DT call, now I know I don't stand a cat in hells chance of getting on but I thought, shucks I love Mo's digi's and they probably need someone to make the numbers look good so I'll have a go.

I chose Two-Tasha which I coloured with my trusty copics and a touch of prisma crayons, the papers I won on dies to die for facebook page, thank you very much, nesties for the mount, memory box for the sentiment mount , sentiment is from whimsy , I made the flowers from Marrianne dies and crafts too punches, the beige lace doesn't show up very well in this photo, and self adhesive pearls from the Hobby House.

Well hello, how happy are we all at The paper shelter ? We have reached over

Me Day

Hello, I have had a great day, it's all about me, Hubby went fishing and took the car, so I couldn't go anywhere, I had a relaxing lay in bed followed by a leisurely shower, then went to our spare room and put together our new cot bed as there's only four weeks left until I become a nanar, eeeek, rearranged the bedroom as it was to big to go where I thought it might, then walked my furbabes and Hubby arrived home earlier than I thought, apparently the wind was too bad to cast, so my peace was then disrupted. He's fast asleep in the chair so I've popped back upstairs to my Bat Cave to finish a couple of cards I started last week.

This image was a freebie from the stamping chef facebook page she's called "Cool Becca Boo"

I coloured her with copics , used K & Co Belle papers, Hero Arts sentiment, burslem flowers, brads from stash and Nesties to cut out image and sentiment.

Spring is here

Hi there, what a gorgeous day it's been today, I think that Spring is finally on it's way, I had my tea break this afternoon sat outside wonderful.

This card is for my Sister in Law's Birthday, doesn't look anything like her, but its one of my fave saturated-canary images, I've coloured her with copics, used Basic grey papers, Fiskars border punch, orange and pink gems, Sister die from Go Kreate, the Memory box Precious heart die I bought from Teresa at

New Challenge

Hi there, I was browsing through feline playful the other night looking for a sketch to give me inspiration when I found this new site (well new to me at any rate) it's a digi shop and challenge site

Hi there, it's my nephews birthday today and I thought he would love this image from Rick St Dennis called Euro clown with balloon. It's the first time I've used Rick and he has a great and different selection of Digi's, and some fantastic Christmas ones, really funny, can't wait to start making them up.

LET IT BE SPRING

I hope the theme for The Paper Shelter challenge rubs off, and we get a bit of Spring weather.

The weather lady has just informed me to expect snow!!

Why is it they are always wrong when it might be good weather, but right when it's bad.

I've chosen The Sweet Gardener coloured her with copics, although her hair isn't quite so orange in real life, the papers are DCWV , the flowers are made up of three punches and the leaves are a McGill punch that I've had for years and just rediscovered how much I love it, the sentiment I generated on the computer, cut with a nestie and the center of the flowers are gems,

Hi there, sorry I've been Missing in Action for a few weeks, but I've had a family bereavement and the last thing you feel like doing is being creative.

But I found this card on my camera that I had made a fortnight ago so thought I would post it on my blog and explain my absence.

It's a reminder card for the sketch at Friday sketch challenge, using a tiddly inks image. coloured with copics,  the papers were a gift so not sure what make they are (but there very yummy) flower brads with a little gem in the middle (they came in a carousel I bought for my copics to go in) the Mum letters are made out of white flock paper that I coloured green with copics, and a nestie for the image matting. 

Short but sweet, hope your having a great weekend, as I look out my window it is hailing. Pleased the heating's on.

Hi there, firstly I would like to welcome my new followers, I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving me some love.

I'm still making my Mother's Day cards, this one is using a LOTV stamp, I must admit it's months since I used a stamp I seem to just be using Digi's at the moment but I ran out of ink on my printer, Doh I usually have a couple in stock but not this time, unless I've lost them in my mess of a craft room.

The papers are Basi Grey, the image was coloured in with copics and glitter, I used my Nesties and a Memory Box border die. I use the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Mothers Day

Hiya, well another cold Sunday, it was white over when I eventually woke up this morning, hate over laying on a Sunday it seems such a waste of a day off. But I must have needed it, (thats what I tell myself so I don't feel so bad), managed to get a play this afternoon and get a few more Mothers Day cards made.

Hiya, what a great weekend we had, the weather was almost Spring like and I actually got my washing dry outside for a change.

I was asked to make a card for a couple that are having a Wedding Extravaganza, all the guests have been asked to bring a plate of food for the reception instead of gifts (great if your getting married on a budget), they are also into the 50's and bunting,

I used a Kenny K image coloured with copics the edges distressed with inks, bunting die from Memory Box,   ivory net voile, nestie's , paper flower, pearl heart, clear gems and the sentiments were generated on my computer, oh yes and the veil and tiara are glittered but they don't show up in this photo, I'll certainly be pleased when the lighter nights come and I don't need lights to take a photo.
