Danny's Birthday

Hi there, I have a clean and simple card today, it was my nephews birthday and I always struggle  with a subject for them, I decided on Mr Roboto from Tiddly Inks this is a great image.

I fancied doing a fairly clean card so i chose to use just grey and blue as my colour scheme.

These button dies from Crafters companion diesire button box die seemed perfect, the paper is from My Memory and a rub on sentiment to finish.

Evening all, and a big warm welcome to my wonderful new followers.

I managed to finish my peacock masquerade from Aurora Wings so thought I would share it with you.

Easter's coming

Hello there, I can't believe how quick this year is going, I'm already starting on my Easter cards, I've gone all pink and girly for this one. I seem to have been using a lot of blue this week I had 10 thank you cards in blue, my brothers birthday and a sympathy card, so I think I've earned the right to be girly. lol.

I've used a gorgeous image from Mo's called Easter Kiko .

Spirals from Small and Round

I've found a wonderful new digi company on Etsy, it's brand new only opened this month, the artist is Jeremiah Ketner and you can find his shop small and round HERE this image is called Spirals, isn't she dreamy, and a pleasure to colour. I'm feeling a tad disappointed today, I ordered myself some new colouring pencils of ebay and they should have arrived today, I had some images printed off ready to play, but alas they didn't arrive, hopefully I will get happy mail tomorrow.

Hi there, I've had a really relaxing weekend, which I must say makes a very pleasant change, I even found time to have a tidy up in my craft room. I have just finished making some Wedding Invitations, just waiting for the envelopes to arrive on Monday then I can post them off. Which is why my craft room is such a tip.

Something a little different

Hi there, something a bit different today, I had a wonderful photo of my Granddaughter Amelie blowing a dandelion clock and wanted to make a feature of it. Whilst I was walking round our local poundland I found this unusual frame, so snatched it up and had a play.

I have used Isabella First Edition papers, the poem I found on the internet, an old locket, the wooden A I coloured with copics and then glitter, the laser cut seed head was coloured and just the ends laquered and then glittered, the frame it self I stamped the fern and dragonflies using Stazon.

The snow has arrived, here at bracing Skegness, not a lot just enough to make it slippy underfoot, 

it makes me pleased that I work from home and only have to walk 10 yards to our workshop.lol.

Poop Happens

Hi there,  I fell in love with this image from Mo's digital pencil called Poop Happens, everytime i reach into my pocket for a tissue I pull out a handful of poo bags. lol.

I made this for my friend Pam, it's her birthday next week, and she has a little Chihuahua as well as a King Charles cavalier and Rosie the Chihuhua is definitely the boss. 

I coloured her with copics, used Echo paper and a little kennel brad another Clean and Simple card from me. That's two in a row, when I want to make a C&S card I struggle like hell.

Valentine already

Hi there, I'm being mega productive at the moment and managed to get a few Valentine cards ready for the shop, so when I find time I will pop them on here. Although I still have 8 Christmas cards I never managed to blog, I will save them for later this year, if the time goes as fast as it did last year it will feel like next month.

I printed this gorgeous image, Valerie-in-love from Mo's Digital pencil, a bit on the large size, so I've left this card fairly plain.

I coloured it with copics , used First Edition paper, sissex heart die, and clear gems, and that's it really. I'd like to enter this in the following:

Winter Lullaby from Aurora Wings

Hiya, isn't it great to get back into a routine, or is it just me? I like to know what I'm doing and when, so it was lovely to get this gorgeous image from Mitzi at Aurora Wings. I loved colouring Winter Lullaby it's a bit looser than a lot of Mitzi's images. I you want to see what the rest of my teamies did with it pop across HERE . It still amazes me how different all the finished projects are from the same image.

I coloured her with copics, used DCWV papers, orange bazill cardstock, corner punch, Marrianne swirl die, Sue Wilson Cammelia flowers and outlines, orange gems and some ribbon from my stash.

I coloured the backgound with E77 then layed a diamond stencil over the top and coloured the diamonds with the copic blender. I was itching to use my new stencil so this seemed the perfect project.

Something New

Hi there, well I seem to be getting back into some sort of a routine, that Christmas flu bug certainly took some getting rid off, I must admit it has left me with a tickly cough, so annoying at 3am.

I also started back at the slimming club, wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be so had to go shopping and get my fruit and veg in, yummy , not.

A friends son and his partner have just had a baby boy, very unexpected only 29 weeks pregnant, so fingers crossed things continue to improve, he only weighed 3lb at birth then lost a bit, but I believe he has regained his weight now.

I got this tiny bow die for Christmas so thought I would try it out, it's a Sue Wilson die and I must say I love it, much prefer it to the larger one.

I used blue bazill cardstock, DCWV paper, mo's digital pencil image called Happy that I coloured with copics, spellbinders scallop circle, clear gems and a congratulations stamp.
