Mo's Dad Day

I can't believe how quick this week has gone, and its been so gorgeous here as well, I could stand it like this all year round . Managed to finish another Fathers Day card, I've used one of Mo's digi's coloured with copics, making memories paper ric rac and brads from stash.

Got loads planned for the weekend, hope I manage to get at least half of it done, does anybody else set themselves unrealistic targets then get mardy when you don't get it all done.lol.

Hi, we have a great challenge at The Paper Shelter this week, its a colour challenge Black, White plus one other colour.

I coloured Cabaret Lolly with copics, red glitter on the hat band, black gloss card and red glitter card for mounting, black and white paper from stash with a couple of chipboard accents coloured black to finish.

Hi there, I managed to get a card finished tonight, Yay, I seem too have so many projects half finished at the moment, not quite sure why. Still they'll get done eventually.
This is a new digi i found at The Emerald Faerie Garden they are so cute. I coloured it with copics, used Diamond Glaze on the wings, I'm not sure what the papers are I got them out of a sale bin at the NEC a few years ago now, I've nearly used them all, which is a pity cause there gorgeous, the flower is a woodware punch six layers held together with an old brad. The letters are rub ons from doodlebug.
Weve had quite an eventfull couple of days, the water main burst right outside our house, it looked like a river running past, at one point it was just a yard from our door, the fire brigade came and pumped out a few of our neighbours that was not quite as lucky as us and did get flooded, the pub down the road and the chip shop both got flooded aswell. They've managed to mend the pipes now and the road is open again, thank goodness.

I think I could get used to these long weekends, especially when the weather is so lovely, we went to get Hubbies birds today, a pair of grey zebra fiches a pair of black cheeked zebra's and a pair of chocolate bengalese finches. Next month were getting some canaries, there my favorite they sing beautifully.


Made this card last night using Gerry's Birthday from Prarie Fairy Designs isn't he the cutest, I coloured him with copics, used Sissex and My minds eye papers, LOTV sentiment stamp, paper mill star die cut and some old star buttons .

An Ode to Mum

Hi there, this week at The Paper Shelter we have the theme "An Ode to Mum" so what a better way to tell Mum how much she means to you. The winner gets a $15 gift voucher if you use a Paper Shelter image.

Hiya, a friend wanted a Christening card for a little boy, so I made this cute little teddy one, you can't really see it but I've 3d the bear, that was coloured with copics, used pearlescent white, blue and patterned(HOTP) card, Nesties, Marrianne Die Doily, pearl brads, stick on pearls, dotty sheer ribbon and a little silver cross.

My hubby has been fishing today but its been so hot in my Bat Cave I haven't been able to play yet. I creosoted the shed instead, hopefully later when it cools down a bit I'll get to play.

Hiya, here we are again, Wednesday already, but we have a long weekend this week, need to work for a few hours on Monday morning but the rest of the time is ours, not got much planned. My Hubby is building an aviary, almost finished just a bit more wiring to do, the birds arrive on the 30th so just in time. The theme this week at The Paper Shelter is Inspired by Nature I chose this gorgeous image called Studies of a Witch, coloured with copics, Kay&Co papers, leaves from stash and the berries are beads coloured with copics.

Hi there, hope you've had a good weekend, I had to work unfortunately, its hard to get motivated when the weather is so beautiful outside, I got finished early though and managed to get the car washed.

Hi there, we've had a great weekend, almost Summer weather never mind Spring, but now its gone and spoiled it by raining, although my Dad will be pleased as his water butts are almost empty, can't please every one.lol.
