Evening, didn't think I was going to get a card on today as my son and DIL have come home for the weekend, my sister had given me some paper racks and I had to dismantle some shelving in my bat cave and I'd dumped loads of stuff in my spare room, so I had to clear it all out so they had somewhere to sleep. Its great to see them . last time was back in February. Well enough waffling I've used the great sketch from sketch and stash, the stamp is a funstamp that i hadn't used for ages, it also fits the cupcake challenge for man or boy and the colour scheme from pink elephant which was light blue, with either mid or dark blue , green and white. The papers are from a pack of my minds eye.

Belli Challenge

Hello, I'm so excited, I'm the Guest Designer for the Belli Challenge Blog for all of May.

With so many talented artists on the design team I was so nervous to get it right, in the end I wickled it down to two cards but couldn't decide which one I liked best so sent them both to Chris and asked her to help and choose one for me.

The brief this week is to make a girly or spring card using the Stamping up colours Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and Cameo Coral. If like me you don't own any Stamping Up colours you can choose anything you have closest to those colours. I've used a couple of stamps from the fantastic Stamptivity.
I've really enjoyed myself and can't wait for the next challenge.

Whiff of joy

Evening, aww I can't believe its Friday again, these weeks are just going so fast, I've been so busy this week hardly had time to turn my laptop on never mind make a card, but Fridays is my night for me, me, me. Tonight I chose to do a Whif of Joy challenge and boy did I enjoy it. I've used my K&Co papers, Prima flowers, nesties, paper ribbon, real ribbon and brad from my stash. Evening, I was so pleased today as I said earlier I ordered a set of stamps from Stamptivity and aswell as my order they had given me this cute little fairy, isn't she sweet, thank you so much. I've used her to do the papertake challenge which was spots and stripes well theres plenty of that on my DP they are some of my faves from K&Co, I used the sketch from Friday sketchers which I really loved will certainly use this one again, I've also managed the ABC challenge which this week is a list

Hello, i got a new stamp set today its from stamptivity and this young lady is one of them isn't she gorgeous,so i thought i would use her for the sketch and stash challenge, the sketch they gave us is lovely really nice to use.
I've also realised I've used 5 different embellishments, so it counts for the cupcake challenge, there is gems, cherry charm,brad, flower and silver spacer. The paper is from Delish.

Hiya everyone, I'm on a double tonight, not wine unfortunetly lol, but challenges. Firstly Just magnolia, not sure how long I'm going to manage this challenge as at the moment I've only got three magnolia stamps, I think a little shopping trip is in the pipeline. This week they wanted us to use pink and green, well that is one of my fave colour combo's at the moment, it changes every month depending on what new papers I have, the second is a wonderful sketch from Raspberry ribbons, you really must pop over and take a look at the yummy ribbon kits they have, I've used K&Co paper, magnolia stamp, three different widths of ribbon layered on top of each other, I couldn't decide which colour so opted for all three,rest is from my stash. Hope to be back on Friday MIL is coming for dinner tomorrow night. Then its another long weekend, how I wish I could have Mondays off every week.

Two in one

Evening, hope your enjoying your weekend, I certainly am,this card is for a challenge set by stamp with stampavie the sketch was designed by Ria and it was very nice to work with. The colour scheme is from stamp something challenge they wanted us to use yellow, green and blue, I've used a RAM stamp of Lily and Milo hand in hand coloured with prismas, using mme papers.

Hi, this challenge came at a good time, I needed a pot to put my paper stubs in as they were rolling around all over the place, so I had an empty gravy granuel tub so I wiped it out covered it with some K&Co papers cut some smaller pieces of coordinating paper and punched it with my Fiskars threading water punch. Stamped a Sarah Kay country girl and coloured her with my prsmas cut her out with my new nesties and then mounted her on the pot.Added a few flowers and Whala!

Daring

Hiya, this card is for Daring cardmakers challenge , their brief was games and toys for boys, well both my boys used to fish my hubby still does, gives me a day off, as we work together it can sometimes be a bit much being together 24/7 so the odd day fishing is a treat for us both.lol.

Evening I managed to do two challenges in one card tonight Belli wanted us to use dry embossing on the card I've managed two strips of cuttlebug embossing folders, Truly scrumptiouswanted us to use their sketch and something for a child, I can remember my two sons playing with their dinosaurs, I think they were called Dinobots half dino half robots, kept them amused for hours.

Evening I can't belive I've managed to make three cards in one day, well two and a half I'd already coloured one the night before, I'm really pleased with the way this one has turned out, I loved the sketch and will defo be using it again, it took quite a while to find the papers I wanted to use but ended up with my fave K&Co ones, the stamp is a R A M Lily -my little friend , I used my EK daisy punch, nesties and coloured with my prismas, brads and ribbon from stash.

Hi I'm sorry but this photo hasn't turned out very well at all. This card is for two challenges, Papertake wanted us to use pastels, I've used Brilliance Peacock inkpad and Dainty dragonfly stamps to make the background,I used another Stamptivity stamp for the bride a piece of blue voil tied around the side glued diamante's in two corners and glitter on the tiara. Cupcake wanted us to use just one layer which I've done here.

Three again

Hiya I seem to be doing alot of three challenges in one card at the moment, mainly as I'm so short of time, but not today I've had the day off horay!!!! We have decided to have a few days of at home, can't remember the last time that happend, being self employed holidays are a few and far between. Stamptacular

Evening, well I thought I would have a go at a new challenge site I found called Stamptacular Sunday, link at bottom of post, and they wanted us to include a bird on our card. So I used my Leanne Ellis stamp Talking to the birds, K&Co paper, ribbon fom stash and prima flower. I coloured her with my prismas and I went a bit over the top with my chalk, it isn't quite as dark as that in real life. Had a very relaxing day with family and friends, and to top it off we had a chinese for tea hmmmmmmmm I shall now drink at least 3 pints of water and be up all night weeing, but its worth it.lol. Three in one

Hiya, this isn't a bad photo I cut the card wider at the top than the bottom so I could get a different shape for the Stamp Something Challenge they wanted as many shapes as poss on your card I only managed 3, but they are 3 pretty shapes.lol. The colours Chocolate, coffee and cream came from Tab at Color create, very nice wallpaper Tab, and lastly Creative Inspirations wanted Scallops, First time I've joined in with this Challenge.
Used Sugar nellie custard, and panaci swirl coloured with distress ink . Hop every one is having a Happy Easter. Hope to be back on Tuesday.

Raspberry ribbons

OK I'm sorry, a Christmas card at Easter I know, but I just got this stamp and I still havn't put my Chrissy stuff away, because I'm so scruffy, so I thought why not, then I thought if I do a couple of xmas cards a month it would be a good start to the xmas rush, we'll see i always start off with good intentions.lol. Whiff of joy

Well what a treat i had today, I went to see Jill at my most favorite craft shop The Hobby House, I could spend all day there they make you so welcome and they also now stock Whiff of joy stamps, so I had to treat myself. I got this willow one she is quite big, but lovely. I also got some new K&Co paper which is what I've used on this card, I coloured her with my prismas and found a bit of lace I've had for ages.

I brought this stamp, Edwin with mushrooms , of ebay a couple of weeks ago it was such a bargain but this is the first chance I've had to ink him up, and he's lovely.The baking paper is from Debbi Moore, I've coloured it with my Prismas and added a bit of 3D laquer to thmushrooms and wings This sketch is by Dawny at Papertake and I love it, you should see the DT cards (Brill) The colour scheme is from Stamp with Stampavie and again the DT cards are so inspiring. Oh also I was really pleased tonight when i noticed I'd won the Creative Belli Challenge and I'm to be a guest designer on April 22nd.

Sketch Saturday

Hiya, well I started this card last night, but my sister gave me a paper rack yesterday, and it took ages to transfer all my stash over, but at least i can see what I've got now and at the moment its all colour coordinated , not sure how long that will last I'm such a scruffy crafter.lol.

this card is for sketch saturday, Tracie has done a great job with the sketch and all the dt cards are brill.

I used my new Mary Hall stamp and added 3d laquer to the ballons, cake and candles. The papers i got free in SCPC magazine.

Hiya, I was so pleased this morning my new stamps from Stamptivity arrived, i only ordered them on my lunch break on Monday, what brill service. As soon as I saw this stamp I new it would be perfect for my eldest sons birthday, he loves mystical things and used to do role play where he was a wizard, So with it being his Bday this month I thought why not, he also loves comic books so last year he got a spiderman card, you wouldn't think he is 29 this year lol .The sketch I've used is from Sketch and Stash and of course the new is my stamp, the old is my DCWV papers I've had for ages some of them are just for stroking. I coloured him with my Prismas , the swirl top left was from a HOTP set of swirl stamps, i did his wand with Debbi Moore metal magic and used a bit of Glamour dust on the edges of the paper.

Evening all, its my nephews birthday next week so I thought I would combine two challenges for this one . Firstly the wonderful Beth over at Truly scrumptious has lived up to her challenge name and given us a truly scrumptious sketch to work with, very versatile can be toned down for a male or fussed up for a girly card, I've used papers from DCWV which I thought went very well with the Giraffe, its a stamp from The Artful Stamper Co. I love this stamp with its gorgeous eyes. This card also fits in with My time to craft, this is my second card fo this challenge, which is Nature this week. Hiya, well I don't know how I managed it but I've done four challenges in one card, firstly My time to craft wanted us to use nature as our subject, I think Porridge from Sugar Nellie certainly fits that bill, then the colour scheme Cupcake gave us three options brown + pink, brown + blue or brown + green, I used papers from Making Memories Cosmopolitan collection. Over at Pink Elephant they wanted us to use buttons somewhere on the card, they are out of my stash. Lastly the wonderfull sketch this week is from Friday Sketchers by the taleted Carole, I really enjoyed this sketch that i turned on its side. Magnolia Vs Stampavie

Hi, I'm so pleased, The Hobby House has some of my fave stamps in now they sell Sarah Kay and Sugar Nellies, she also stocks Martha Stewart punches, i just wish she was a bit closer, she's about 40 miles but luckily she opens on a Sunday, my day off :) and the coffee shop does a mean Sunday lunch so everyones happy.

Over on M Vs S Carla has given us a wonderful sketch to play with. I've used one of my new Sarah Kays, coloured her with Prismas, used K Ancestor paper, some ribbon lace from Krazy Krafters and a sweet crystal for the text.

I should have gone to Salsasize tonight but I've twisted my back so daren't risk jumping about to much so I had a pizza instead, that will do my diet good :o) My mother in law is coming for tea tomorrow so I shan't get to play, but hope to Friday night.

Truly scrumptious, Belli

Hi back again, I've just made a card that takes in 2 challenges, Belli wanted us to use a colour we are not comfy with, well mine is turquoise, so i teamed it up with pink and orange and I'm quite pleased with the effect. I used a sketch from Truly scrumptious which was really great and they wanted us to also make our own buttons, which i did using a chipboard flower covered with a scrap of paper holes punched in the top using my cropadile and tied with raffia. The stamp is from Art impressions that i got from the sale bin at The Hobby House, cant remember the make of paper but the range is magnolia, I coloured the immage with my prismas.

Friday sketcher, Papertake Weekly,Spoonfull of sugar

Hiya, I just loved this sketch from Friday Sketcher, I flipped it on its side as I wanted to use this stamp from Sugar Nellie, its one of the Leanne Ellis range, which I love,on my Mums card. The colour scheme brown, pink and orange are the Papertake Weekly Challenge, I love to use pink and orange together, I've 3D the image and wish and also glossy accented her buttons, wish and a few highlights on her wings but I'm not sure you can see that in this photo. I've torn the edges at the top so it counts for A spoonfull of sugarschallenge aswell.Hubby has gone fishing but he just rang to say itsblowing a gale and spitting with rain so I've proberly only got an hour of me time left, he's a bit of a fair weather fisherman lol.
Well I think I'll make the most of my hour and pop back upstairs to my bat cave, lol

Arty girlz, Sketch and stash

Hi, well I've managed a double tonight, Arty girlz and Sketch and stash,

The sketch was really nice to work with, and blue and yellow is a colour combination I can't remember ever using before. My stamps are from Whif of joy and which is brand new and Kelly Panacci which I've had for a while. Thought I might give this one to my MIL as a Mothers day card, my FIL died at Christmas so this year its a time of doing things without him for the first time, but shes doing really well, hope to be back tomorrow hubbies off fishing so I'll get a bit of peace, lol.

mojo monday

Hiya, its seems ages since I've done a challenge, been busy at work and doing my samples for Debbi Moore, so really enjoyed myself tonight, I treated myself to some new nesties, nice size, they will work well with a lot of my stamps plus I think they look a bit more masculine than the scallops so should get plenty of use on men's cards, I think I've persuaded myself that I should really invest in the other labels set as well. lol.
This card started out for the whiff of joy challenge then I realised I'd used a judikins stamp on the background, so Mojo Monday came to the rescue with there lovely sketch and a chance to win some Verve stamps, the DT cards are brilliant yet again . It never fails to amaze me how different people interpret the sketch. Ive used Whiff of Joy and Judikins stamps and coloured with my prismas. Hope to get another card done tomorrow, so see you then .
