Hiya, been playing a bit more, a couple of years ago I bought one of those desk tidies that spin round and they have drawers underneath, the top is in compartments, well I couldn't fit all my pens in one section so I took one of the walls out to make two into one, I had this bit of mdf on my book shelf all this time (you can tell from that admition how often I tidy up). So I put it to good use.
I painted the said piece of wood with gesso, once dry I applied texture paste through an Imagination Diamond stencil, once that dried I stamped over it using frayed burlap distress ink and a dotty stamp.
The gentleman is another Imagination Stencil using Black star Sparkle medium on black card, I cut him out and attached to the board, the cogs are an All occasions die on black cardstock and then dry brushed with a bit of platinum acrylic paint. Really pleased with the way it turned out, not bad for a bit of a mdf.

Great idea to create one large compartment on your spinner and fabulous use of the mdf! Your creation is really striking and the monochromatic tones really suit the subject matter.Thank you for joining us at the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Anything Goes December Challenge. Good luck!
