Pinky

Evening , really getting on well with my Christmas cards now, been quite busy making domino brooches for the hospice to sell, so my challenges have been a bit thin on the ground.

This card covers 4 challenges, havn't managed to combine for ages. I used the wonderful sketch over at Cupcake Crafts, Daring asked for our favorite things some of mine are on this card, Sugar Nellie stamp, glitter and gems, Creative Card Crew wanted snowflakes, Simon Says asked for all that sparkles, bit difficult to see in this photo but the gems and glitter really sparkle. I've also used K&Co papers , cuttlebug embossing, copics and a bit of lace.
MIL tomorrow so I wont be back until Friday, thought I might do a stew and dumplings for her as it feels like winters on its way.
Ohh I nearly forgot I won 9 Pollycraft images in their blog hop, they are brilliant. Will try and find time to play at the weekend.

Hi all, Dawn has done it again another fantastic sketch, it was a dream to use and one I shall use again and again. This is my card for the sketch, thought I'd have a brake from Christmas cards, I've used a Lili of the valley stamp, coloured with my copics, matted with my nesties. I used K&Co papers and bazill basics, the top was punched with a Fiskars threading water border punch, used a ribbon slider with ribbon from stash , punched a flower with an EK and layered a couple of prima flowers on top, used a bead cap and crystal brad with a butterfly charm. I popped afew mini pink crystals around the centre image. Please pop over to ICS Challenge Blog and have a go , you never know you might be the lucky one to win a stamp.

Sunday Sketch

Evening, I hope you have had a good weekend, why do they go so quick, even when we get an extra hour, I loved my last card so much I thought I'd do it again in another colour.
This time I used Ger's sketch from SS&Stamp, itsa lovely sketch and if you like circular cards it would work for one of those , I'm not that brill at cutting cards so I chickened out and used a Square card and stuck a circle to that. The stamp is Herb from WOJ coloured with copics and glittered, Bazill basics lilac card and the papers was a pressy so not sure where they came from, pearls on a string and three stick on pearlsfinish it off,

Miss Santa

Hiya, another gloomy day here its rained non stop all day, we had some deliveries to do but darn't risk it in this weather, when I was a little girl and it was raining really heavy my Mum used to call it a colouring book day, thats how I feel tonight colouring my image with the rain beating on my window.lol.

This is a sugar nellie stamp coloured with me copics and a bit of glamour dust, papers are papermania, they are supposed to be Christmas but more than half of them have nothing Christmassy on them atall which is great as I can use them all year round. Cut out with my nestie and the snowflakes are cuttlebug dies on glitter card. I used the sketch on Create 4 fun it was a great one to use and i will definately be using it again. The dt sketches are brill.

Dave

Evening, hope you've all had a good day, its mighty cold here today think I'm going to have to give in and find my socks, I hate wearing anything on my feet but they are cold today.
It's our Wedding Anniversary on Thursday , we will have been married for thirtytwo years so were off to my favorite Italian for dinner, mmmmm
This is the card I've made my hubby,

I've used the Penny Black sketch this week as it fits my image a treat. I stamped the four litte hedgehogs in a row and coloured them with my copics, used bazill bling card and HOTP papers, embossed the circle with a cuttlebug folder and that was it, quite a quick card the longest bit for me is choosing which DP to use, I always forget what papers I have which is sometimes a good thing as I get a nice surprise when I find something I havn't seen for a while. lol. I really must start using some of my papers instead of just stroking them, lol, Should be back tomorrow all being well, take care.

ICS #39

Hi there another week already, I actually saw a house with Christmas lights up at the weekend, I couldn't believe it

Here is Dawns gorgeous sketch, remember you can flip, twist, mirror it anything really as long as the sketch is there somewhere.

We are generously being sponsored this week by Doodle Palace Store please pop over and see what they have its an amazing site.

I had never used a digi stamp before and I must say I was a bit nervous, I really didn't need to worry, it was so easy, just download the image, and this is the best bit, you choose what size you want the image to be, you can print off as many copies as you want.I printed 2 as I wanted to 3D the cake feet and head.

I chose this adorable dragon with icing all round her mouth.

I coloured her with my copics, glittered the icing on the cake and round the mouth, I used HOTP papers, little gems, the flowers are made with EK and crafts too punch's, mounting with nesties and bazill basics, a couple of charms, brads and bead caps to finish it off.

I must say I am really pleased with it and will certainly be getting some more of these digi's.

I hope you will all join in with the ICS challenge this week and take a look at all the amazing cards the other design team have made also using Doodle Palace digi's.

Take Care.

I love this stamp from sugar nellie, so cute, I coloured it with copics and glitter matted with nesties, punched with Martha Stewart, and cuttle bug, ribbon from stash, I made my own backing paper using white Bazill bling and stamped Debbi Moore snowflakes randomly with blue brillance, I also used pale blue bazill bling for matting and also for the snowflakes which I also glittered.
I used the great Sketch from Sunday sketch and stamp, also Stampavie wanted a Christmas card.
The DT cards on both of these challenges are totally amazing.
See you tomorrow for the new ICS challenge,

ICS #38

Hi everyone, its another week at ICS hasn't this week flown by,

I am totally amazed at the wonderful entries to last weeks sketch,

Dawn has given us another fantastic sketch this week, we are also being sponsered by

Scapbooks N Stuff they are giving the winner one sheet of every paper from the Elliot Collection from Scrap within reach.

What a great prize wish I could enter.lol

Here is the card I made from the lovely sketch.

I used a set of stamps from the clear range of Inkadinkadoos, cut them out with my nesties and coloured with copics used Bazill basicsand DP from stash, used an EK border punch across the bottom.

When my boys were young we used to go away in our caravan for holidays, they loved it but I wasn't so keen, couldn't get used to condensing everything into a small space, same thing now I spread all my crafting stuff out all over the place.

I hope you'll all join in with us at ICS, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Evening, this card is for a little boy called Nathan, I make all his Granny's cards for her, she has four grandchildren this year.
Ive used the juggler from sugar nellie, one of my fave stamps, coloured with copics, glittered the snowmans body, cut him out, liquid applique and glittered his trim. Matted him onto white glitter card using my nesties. Papers are from stash can't remember there make I also used three little white pom poms as snowballs for a change.Sentiment is a HOTP rub on.

We all went to night school together about twelve years ago to learn hardanger embroidery when the class finished we carried on meeting up once a fortnight for a catch up, coffee and moan. I'm the youngest there and Babs is the oldest at 71, you'd never beleave she was that age she lives on her own and never stops, like a whirl wind.

Evening, another nice day, thats two on a trot hope tomorrow makes three. But it is Autuminal next doors leaves are falling all over my garden like a lovely orange carpet.
This card is for Just Magnolia challenge I dont usually do this challenge as I've only got three magnolia stamps and i get a bit fed up using the same stamps every week. But I won a challenge the other week and there was a couple of prints in the prize.
Ive coloured it with my copics, which was a mistake as it bled a bit, I shall use my prismas on the others, used K&Co papers they were still on my desk so me being a lazy muppet used them again, matted with my nesties made some flowers with an EK and cross cut punch , ribbon paper flowers and leaves from stash.

Hi, well I'm excited and nervous at the same time.lol this is my first week on the wonderful Inspirational Card Sketches Design Team. What a friendly group of gals they are, and super talented, I've been stalking their blogs for a couple of weeks.

This is the great sketch Dawn gave us, you can rotate, flip or twist it, as long as its recognisable thats fine.

Here is my take on the sketch. I've used HOTP papers, the stmp is from Card Fairy I cut the ovals on my cricut, coloured the image with my copics and added a bit of glamour dust on the negligee frill. I punched the edges with my EK and stuck mini gems on the scallops. Added a silver ribbon and setiment.

Hope you will all pop over and have a go at Dawns sketch its a really good one I shall certainly be using it again.

Snowman

Hiya, I forgot I had this stamp, well actually I have a set of three of these tag stamps there from Stamps Away and I got them from the NEC a few years ago. I love this holly paper it was in a set from Anna Griffin, I used a crafts-too flower punch and a McGill branch. Some flower gems from Debbi Moore, Jelly tots from craftwork and ribbon from stash. I coloured it with copics, glittered the snowman and the snowflakes.
I used the great sketch from Sunday sketch and stamp, a spoonfull of sugar wanted a Christmas theme, CCC asked for all that sparkles(well my snowman certainly does, not very clear in this photo though ), and finally SS wanted red and green, I've also got a bit of blue for the sky but I'm hoping that will be OK. I quite like the way the flowers have turned out must see if I can get that punch in a bigger size.
Hope to be back tomorrow
Hugs Debs
