Hi there, this week at The crafter's cafe the theme is

"EMBOSSING dry or wet"

I chose Catleya Tangleberry isn't that a marvelous name.

I used both dry and wet embossing on this card.

I popped the lilac paper through an embossing folder then the raised section I wet embossed with kaleidoscope embossing powder. I also embossed the bird and mushroom.

Friday Sketch Challenge #50

Hi there, it's time for the reminder card at friday sketch challenge and the lovely Janine designed our sketch.

I used Jules from saturated canary that I coloured with my copics and paperpearls, distress ink round the edge, My Nesties, where would I be without them, Basic Grey papers, a selection of paper leaves and roses.

Were having brilliant weather here in the UK, but I can't believe how quick the nights are drawing in, it was dark for 9.00 last night, but we had a beautiful red sky. I keep forgetting to take a photo of it.

I havn't put a picture of my gorgeous grand daughter Amelie on for a few weeks, she was 3 months old this week and here is a picture of her with my son her Daddy, I must say she is a proper Daddies girl as soon as he walks into the room she smiles, personally I think she is looking very much like her lovely Mum.

Make it crafty DT

Hi there, one of my favorite digi shops is make it crafty , they sell the most amazing images, also they are very big in tutorials, with you tube video's and ebooks, all the DT's are so talented and also very helpful.

Well make it crafty are looking for a group of like minded people that would like to DT for there Facebook page, I wouldn't dream of applying for the proper DT as I'm still very much learning to master my copics, but I feel I could maybe chat on facebook, with the lovely followers,

The piece I made for you above is using cobblestone-path I coloured with my copics, used First edition papers and bazill cardstock with a memory box die.

The Paper Shelter Ribbon

Morning all, hope your all well and happy, if not we have a great challenge for you at The paper shelter this week, it's all about ribbons,

I chose Vintage Seamstress to colour up, I used my copics as usual and I've just had a count up and I actually used 5 different ribbons, thick cream, pull up cream, tape measure ribbon and two on the bobbins,

the papers are new leaf from first edition, a heart doily i coloured with pink distress ink,paper flowers and leaves from my stash and some brand new never been out the box before dies the dress dummy and cotton bobbins.

Friday Sketch Challenge #48 reminder

Hi there, I must say it was weird making a Christmas card in a heatwave, I thought it might cool me down,,,,,,No

We had an almighty thunderstorm the other night and also discovered we had a hole in the roof , directly above my paper stock in my Bats cave , so 11,30 we were moving all my stash from one room to another, the roofer was coming today to replace my roof but guess what it was raining so they had to postpone until tomorrow, hope it stays dry tonight I have so many bowls and buckets in my room theres no where left to walk.

Evening all, I'm not sure if you have heard but the wonderful Tiddly Inks are having a DT call.

I've used Wryn Heartfelt love and the open book which is very generously free, I coloured with my copics used Maya Road papers, paper flowers from my stash and self adhesive pearls.

I have a very simple style, focusing on the image rather than the embelishments, I wish I could do the fancy stuff but it just looks cluttered to me. Must be the way my brain works!!!

Hi there, I have a bit of news for you today, I've been asked to be a new DT member for the

I start my term in July, but we have a Blog hop to introduce everyone first.

So about me!!!!

I'm Debs, in the day I run an upholstery business with my Husband of 36 years ( I was a child bride,lol) at night I hide away in my Bat Cave creating, I love all crafts, but my favorite is Papercraft, as a child I would not go anywhere without my colouring book and crayons, which is why I'm probably addicted to my copics.

I've just become a Nanar for the first time and have a gorgeous Granddaughter called Amelie, you might get a bit fed up of seeing her photo's, but I just don't care.

I'm really looking forward to working with the other girls and coming to see all  your blogs, I'm in Team A and we are going first, you have three days to visit all our blogs, Team B will introduce themselves on 29th June for three days.

Dads Day

Hi there, and Happy Fathers Day.

I thought I'd share my Fathers Day card with you,

When I was tiny my Dad had a green Morris Traveler. He can even remember the number plate.

I can always remember getting it loaded up with all the suitcases and dogs ready for our holidays.

Happy times.

So when I saw this digi last year I had to get it ready for today.
