Hiya well Ive finally caught up with my cards, this one has turned out better than i thought it would, the sketch is by Jeanette over at Friday sketchers, it never fails to amaze me how small the world becomes when you are on the internet, here i am doing a sketch by Jeanette in Canada!!! it was a lovely sketch thank you. Colour create wanted pink, orange and green i was going to go for citrus shades but then opted for a mmore pastel shade, which I'm pleased with. Cute card thrs wanted fruity these stamps from WOJ are certainly fruity and i also added a cherry charm, i used my copics to colour MME and K&Co papers with pink bazill some green pearls pink flowers from my sister and prima larger flower EK flower and border punches. those border punches are amazing they go through quite thick card like butter. i love them.
I love these papers from K&Co they are just a bit greyer than the photo but gorgeous. I got this stamp from the NEC one year I think they were from the Card Fairy. My son goes fishing with his Dad when he visits so this card fitted the bill, he's more into Golf actually but realised I'd used my golf stamp last year, me thinks its time for a shopping trip, does anyone know if the show at Newark has its new dates yet, thats quite close to me so ideal. I used the sketch over at I (heart) to stamp, loved it so I'll certainly use it again.
Well todays my first day of my holidays and I've come down with a stinker of a cold, we only get two weeks a year and I always get a cold , why is that when for the other 50 weeks I'm fine, Oh well its only a cold. Have you all been over to the Creatalicious challenge site and entered there candy draw, there is also a DT call and a lovely sketch , this is my card, so fingers crossed.
Hiya, back again this is my second card today and its for two challenges Stamp something, as it has butterflies and little dickie birds on and the sketch is from Friday sketchers, I thought this card was quite summery (is that a proper word?) with the flowered DP and her summery clothes. Quite ironic since weve had thunder storms and hail stones today, we had some deliveries to do at work and it was trying to time them in between showers. Got a bit of a countdown starting today just one week and I'm on holiday, Yahooo, well ready for a break , been a right shitty year so far so need to recharge the old batteries,
Evening, I've got a friends birthday this weekend who loves fly fishing so I thought this card would be ideal for him. Its a sugar nellie stamp on K&Co paper and nesties were used to matt. It also has three eyelets which fit in with the cute card thursday challenge , be back later if I'm still awake.
Hiya hope everyone is well, I'm really pleased my new manga kids stamp arrived this morning so I just had to ink her up, great stamp, not happy with the colouring though i was a bit rushed , must do better.lol. I've entered this card for the sugar bowl challenge they wanted us to include ribbon and bows.
Hi I'm so pleased with myself I've actually made a start on tidying my craft room, well a couple of hours tidying before I succombed to making a card.lol. This is one of my Debbi Moore samples. Debbi Moore now sells stamps from Staptivity, well Im in heaven, I looooove Staptivity stamps I couldn't believe my luck when a set of Fairies came through my letter box. Debbi is on Ideal World on Thrs 23 at 2pm for a two hour special then on Tues 28that 2pm .The backing papers are also from Debbi's flower CD .I've used my nesties and fantasy film for the wings and glitter on the skirt and top. This card fits lovely with the fairy theme over on Daring cardmakers this week, and the DT cards are gorgeous.
Hiya, I love the colours on this card, D C wanted us to use blue and green together so I looked through my dp and found this one by K&Co, I used a WOJ stamp and they gave us a recipe this week, 3 patterned papers, 3 flowers and 1 ribbon, these fitted with a wonderfull sketch from FS.Its been a nice treat having the evening at home, we fetched my mother in law from hospital this afternoon she looks so much better and looking forward to sleeping in her own bed.
