New Sprites at Aurora Wings

Hi there, how exciting, we have three new Sprites to add to the collection

over at Aurora Wings ,so I've been in heaven colouring this week.

First up is Unicorn Sprite, my Granddaughters love unicorns so I can see this one being a favorite, I coloured with copics, made a cloud stencil for the background and then cut clouds , rainbow and sun with my dies.

ADU New release

Hi there , it's new release day at All dressed up stamps and I've been playing with Easter Girl,

Mother's Day

Hi , I would like to share a card I made for Mother's Day,

I used red heavy weight card and stencilled with some structure paste, the Mum is 

a chipboard word I painted then covered with glossy accents, I found these flowers in the bottom of my drawer, it's the reason I made the card I looked at them and thought what could I use these on, don't you find inspiration comes to you out of the blue, needless to say I didn't get any more drawers tidied out LOL, the red jewels I got of a lady on Facebook.

Mother's Day

Hi there, I have a quick Mother's Day card from me today, just to get me going, it is so cold, we have had 6" of snow today and it's still coming down, sat here listening to the wind ripping round the house,

I used a First edition paper, Tim Holtz and Crafters Companion Butterfly dies, the corner and letters are from AliExpress only took half an hour but really pleased with the effect and the yellow green paper makes me think of Spring.

Peacock Queen and Vines and Berries

Hi there, I've had a wonderful time colouring these two beauties.

Mitzi has given us two new releases from Aurora wings this month, 

you can see everyones release projects at Aurora wings showcase

the first is Peacock Queen, there is something so regal about a peacock, I coploured her with copics,

the papers are from an old CD from Artylicious called Peacock Summer Party, the feathers are SnipArt that i purchased from Anna at The Craft box, coloured with copics then laquered.

I was struggling to get my Neenah card solar white from my usual supplier but I found it at Craft Stash they were very quick delivery and if you spend £15 (which isn't difficult) its free P&P

Hi there, it's new release time at All dressed up stamps and I got to play with

what a great image this one is I really love it,

decided to use fairly muted colours as I thought it made it look a bit Folksy, the papers are from HOTP the feathers are SnipArt from The Craft Box , I coloured them then used a crackle paste on top. The sentiment is computer generated.

Showjumping and Campervans

Hi there, hope you've had a good weekend, I must say I feel really guilty as I've not done any housework this weekend, I popped out to see my Mum and Dad Sat morning then my Mother in law Sat afternoon, bought some new phones to try and stop the crackly line, walked the dog and played, I have a chicken in the oven ready for tea and thats your lot.

The playing involved making a couple of cards for a commission, the first is for a young girl that loves showjumping its from her Grandma and the second is for her Uncle having a special birthday, after tea I plan to make a start on my DT work plus it's my Hubbies birthday on Friday, mine as well actually. At least he never forgets me.

This is using horse riding from Polkadoodles that I coloured using copics, the grass is an icicle die from Marrianne that I turned upside down, the sky is done with distress in and a stencil made from a die.

I made a plaque with this sprite, first I stamped the gessoed wood with Imagination's text stamp, then using Imaginations diamond stencil I layered it with black paste, coloured and laquered a SnipArt Love and Scroll fixed to the frame with the Happy Pierrot and some flowers, the balloons are laquered as well. I coloured the Sprite with copics.

Hi there, what a wet and rainy start to the weekend, hope its better were you are, I've cheered myself up making a Valentine card.

I went to see my Mum ,Dad and brother this morning, so a  lovely morning, got home and Hubby had washed the pots and announced he's taking me out for tea so, play time for me. He he .

I've used aTiddly inks stamp called Wryn heartfelt love , one of my old go to stamps, I coloured it with copics and used Kaiser Craft Madame Boutique papers and a Valentine Rub on.

Valentine card

Hiya, been busy getting my Valentine cards made, I thought I would share one with you,

for this one I used Anna Marie papers with a vine leaf from Imagination stenciled through with heavy gesso, the SnipArt heart I coloured pink then covered with glitter, gems and mounted on pearl card, there is also glass beads, cheesecloth, flowers, gems, lace, rub ons and some white seam binding. Ooops nearly forgot the little butterflies and the sentiment stamp came free with my making cards magazine. SnipArt and flowers from Craft Box
