Hi there, it's my nephews birthday today and I thought he would love this image from Rick St Dennis called Euro clown with balloon. It's the first time I've used Rick and he has a great and different selection of Digi's, and some fantastic Christmas ones, really funny, can't wait to start making them up.

I've kept it pretty plain, I coloured the clown with copics, used 7gypsies paper , spellbinders swirl die, plastic balloons, Happy Birthday chip, I also 3D laquered the balloons and eyes,

LET IT BE SPRING

I hope the theme for The Paper Shelter challenge rubs off, and we get a bit of Spring weather.

The weather lady has just informed me to expect snow!!

Why is it they are always wrong when it might be good weather, but right when it's bad.

I've chosen The Sweet Gardener coloured her with copics, although her hair isn't quite so orange in real life, the papers are DCWV , the flowers are made up of three punches and the leaves are a McGill punch that I've had for years and just rediscovered how much I love it, the sentiment I generated on the computer, cut with a nestie and the center of the flowers are gems,

Hi there, sorry I've been Missing in Action for a few weeks, but I've had a family bereavement and the last thing you feel like doing is being creative.

But I found this card on my camera that I had made a fortnight ago so thought I would post it on my blog and explain my absence.

It's a reminder card for the sketch at Friday sketch challenge, using a tiddly inks image. coloured with copics,  the papers were a gift so not sure what make they are (but there very yummy) flower brads with a little gem in the middle (they came in a carousel I bought for my copics to go in) the Mum letters are made out of white flock paper that I coloured green with copics, and a nestie for the image matting. 

Short but sweet, hope your having a great weekend, as I look out my window it is hailing. Pleased the heating's on.

Hi there, firstly I would like to welcome my new followers, I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving me some love.

I'm still making my Mother's Day cards, this one is using a LOTV stamp, I must admit it's months since I used a stamp I seem to just be using Digi's at the moment but I ran out of ink on my printer, Doh I usually have a couple in stock but not this time, unless I've lost them in my mess of a craft room.

The papers are Basi Grey, the image was coloured in with copics and glitter, I used my Nesties and a Memory Box border die. I use the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Mothers Day

Hiya, well another cold Sunday, it was white over when I eventually woke up this morning, hate over laying on a Sunday it seems such a waste of a day off. But I must have needed it, (thats what I tell myself so I don't feel so bad), managed to get a play this afternoon and get a few more Mothers Day cards made.

I've used a gorgeous digi from tiddly inks, coloured with copics , the heart flowers are glittered as well, paper was a gift, Marrianne flower die, Nestie, Scallop border punch,  cobweb lace and the Mum stickers I've had for years and years, Hope you've had a good weekend .

Hiya, well Spring didn't last very long, were back to Winter again with a vengeance here, freezing fog this morning but what better way to cheer yourself up than make a Celebration card for the the paper shelter Challenge

Hiya, what a great weekend we had, the weather was almost Spring like and I actually got my washing dry outside for a change.

I was asked to make a card for a couple that are having a Wedding Extravaganza, all the guests have been asked to bring a plate of food for the reception instead of gifts (great if your getting married on a budget), they are also into the 50's and bunting,

I used a Kenny K image coloured with copics the edges distressed with inks, bunting die from Memory Box,   ivory net voile, nestie's , paper flower, pearl heart, clear gems and the sentiments were generated on my computer, oh yes and the veil and tiara are glittered but they don't show up in this photo, I'll certainly be pleased when the lighter nights come and I don't need lights to take a photo.

Friday Sketch Challenge Reminder

Hi there, sorry I've been missing in action, my Husband and I have had a Gastric Flu Bug, never felt so bad and it really wiped us out for a week, getting there now though.

I saw a lady at the Lincoln Sincerely Yours show making them, you can make them what ever colour you want. Nestie and an Embossing folder that I can't remember the make but it's one of the new 6x6 ones.

Hiya, we have everyone's favorite at the paper shelter this week

I've made a card completely out of my comfort zone this week, but I think it does you good to break out of the mould occasionally  

  

I chose Vintage Floral Frame which comes ready coloured, I printed it off four times and cut and layered it up, I used K & Co papers, antique lace, pearl hearts singles and shaped, paper flowers and leaves.

Hi there, I would just like to say a big "Hello and Welcome"  to my new follower/friends, it's great that you find the time to come and visit me and I'm truely grateful when you leave me a comment. 

Todays card is just for fun really, I bought this digi .tiddly inks vamp-me before Christmas but only just found time to print it off, I thought it would make a lovely Valentines card.

I coloured it with copics, used Basic Grey papers black card and ribbon with a silver ribbon slider, some clear gems in the corner and the sentiment I printed on my computer. I also have a confession to make, I cut it out using my nestie and accidently cut off the signature, but it is defo a  tiddly inks image and if you click on  Here it will take you to their shop.

Friends Birthday

Hi there, hope your having a good weekend, the weather is amazing here really nice, makes me wonder whats to come, the shop round the corner has just had a delivery of snow shovels and sledges, not sure if she knows something I don't.

Anyway it was one of my friends Birthday last week and she just loves animals so I thought this great digi coexist from mo's digital pencil ,  I love all of Mo's digi's they are amazing, just need to find time to practice colouring fur, never got the hang of that, must go on my never ending list of things to do in 2013.

I coloured it with copics used Basic grey paper nestie, LOTV sentiment stamp and a wooden mushroom, I kept it quite simple with the image being big.

This great sketch was designed by the lovely Marie, it's a great one for using up all those scraps you have just mounting up in the box. One of my resolutions is to try and make my bit box a bit smaller, and I don't mean by throwing it away either.

Hi there, just a quicky today  busy getting ready for visitors, we had some lovely news last night, my daughter in law had her 20 week scan and they have told her its going to be a GIRL which is going to be really strange as we are all boys in our family, I've had great fun browsing the net for girly clothes,

No I'm not either, seems really weird this year as we are having two Christmases, we had one last week with my Boys and their partners, as they are both working over Christmas, and one next week with my parents, we've also had a couple meals out , I think I'll be a bit fed up with Turkey come the New Year.
