Hiya, we have everyone's favorite at the paper shelter this week

" ANYTHING GOES"

I've made a card completely out of my comfort zone this week, but I think it does you good to break out of the mould occasionally  

  

I chose Vintage Floral Frame which comes ready coloured, I printed it off four times and cut and layered it up, I used K & Co papers, antique lace, pearl hearts singles and shaped, paper flowers and leaves.

Hi there, I would just like to say a big "Hello and Welcome"  to my new follower/friends, it's great that you find the time to come and visit me and I'm truely grateful when you leave me a comment. 

Todays card is just for fun really, I bought this digi .tiddly inks vamp-me before Christmas but only just found time to print it off, I thought it would make a lovely Valentines card.

I coloured it with copics, used Basic Grey papers black card and ribbon with a silver ribbon slider, some clear gems in the corner and the sentiment I printed on my computer. I also have a confession to make, I cut it out using my nestie and accidently cut off the signature, but it is defo a  tiddly inks image and if you click on  Here it will take you to their shop.

Friends Birthday

Hi there, hope your having a good weekend, the weather is amazing here really nice, makes me wonder whats to come, the shop round the corner has just had a delivery of snow shovels and sledges, not sure if she knows something I don't.

Anyway it was one of my friends Birthday last week and she just loves animals so I thought this great digi coexist from mo's digital pencil ,  I love all of Mo's digi's they are amazing, just need to find time to practice colouring fur, never got the hang of that, must go on my never ending list of things to do in 2013.

I coloured it with copics used Basic grey paper nestie, LOTV sentiment stamp and a wooden mushroom, I kept it quite simple with the image being big.

Hi there, here we have the first sketch of 2013 from  friday sketch challenge

This great sketch was designed by the lovely Marie, it's a great one for using up all those scraps you have just mounting up in the box. One of my resolutions is to try and make my bit box a bit smaller, and I don't mean by throwing it away either.

We also have a great new sponsor The stampfairy who was very generous and gave all the DT an image to use.

I chose patches in love he is so cute. I printed him out in grey for a change, coloured with copics, used K & Co paper's , prima flowers and pearls that was a Christmas pressie.

Hi there, just a quicky today  busy getting ready for visitors, we had some lovely news last night, my daughter in law had her 20 week scan and they have told her its going to be a GIRL which is going to be really strange as we are all boys in our family, I've had great fun browsing the net for girly clothes,

The Paper Shelter Blog Hop Winner

Hi there, well are you ready yet? No I'm not either, seems really weird this year as we are having two Christmases, we had one last week with my Boys and their partners, as they are both working over Christmas, and one next week with my parents, we've also had a couple meals out , I think I'll be a bit fed up with Turkey come the New Year. But its all good fun.

Decorating

Hi, we've had a busy Sunday, about a month ago we started decorating our bedroom, but we only get Sunday off work so it seems to have been going on forever, tada its finished well almost just got to get a new light fitting to put up and then its done. I must say it looks great, the rest of the house looks bad now though, but were coming up to our busy time at work so were not starting anything else untill way after Christmas.

I made this card one night in the week but only just got round to photographing it, I hate taking photo's at night, seems to drain the colour or cast shadows, well enough of me winging.

This is a Pink ink digi, coloured with copics as usual, paper artsy papers, memory box bunting die, nesties, green gems and glitter on his hat and mistletoe, but you can't see it.

The Paper Shelter #88 Anything Goes

Well what a fantastic day it is, the weather is grey, cold and miserable, everything's been going wrong at work, and I stubbed my toe on the bed, but I don't care, why? Because I have the best news ever!!!!

I'M GOING TO BE A NANAR

My Son and DIL came to see us at the weekend and told us the fantastic news, Baby is due on May 13th so a Spring baby, I'm knitting already, it does take me a long while to finish anything so hopefully it will be done before May. I will take a photo, you are going to be so fed up with me so I'll apologize now.

It's quite apt that The Paper Shelter released a new digi this week Light of my Life

Anyway onto this weeks challenge at the paper shelter which is every bodies favorite

I chose one of my fave Paper Shelter images In the 20's , and used an old Glasses box I had to make this gift box. I never chuck anything away.

I coloured her with Copics, used first edition papers, some brown tulle a pearl heart slider, Create die cut fence, and an assortment of paper leaves and flowers.

Friday Sketch Challenge #29

Hi there, it's time for a new sketch over at Friday sketch challenge this great sketch was designed by Shirley isn't it great, lots of possibilities.

I chose Snowman-2 she is just soooo cute,
I coloured her with copics, used liquid pearls on the flowers, cuttlebug embossing folders (snowflakes and ornaments) white heart ribbon and some clear gems, you might just see the glitter on the snow. So sorry about the bad photo but I ended up taking it at night with a light. I quite like to see white on white for Christmas cards, I must say I'm struggling this year to get motivated to make any, I think I might need to treat myself to some new papers to get my Mojo back.lol. Well thats my excuse to go spending anyway.
