Friday Sketch Reminder

Hiya, were halfway through the friday sketch challenge #28 by Carole

So I thought I'd show you my second card I made using this sketch, 

some freebie papers, I'm ashamed to say I can't remember which shop I got the digi from, it was before I started fileing my digi's properly , if any one knows can you let me know so that I can credit them!

I coloured it with copics, used my Nesties, a HOTP big brad and rub on, pearls for snowdrops, purple gems, Memory box flower die and you can't see it on this photo but theres glitter on the sky.

The Paper Shelter #86 Charming

Hiya, well I think Autumns gone and Winters arrived here already, it's proper cold and really dark in the mornings, quite depressing really, but lots of things to look forward to, 

The theme this week at The paper shelter is "CHARMING", I really love charms on a  card, I have loads, but the problem is I don't like them leaving my room, I don't mind putting them on a card as long as I can keep it, my Hubby says its cause I'm tight, I just think I get attached to them, so this card is extra special because Ive used 2, went a bit light headed then, and I'm sending it to my Neice, I wonder if she will let me visit it. lol.

I've used Too Cute to Spook which is on offer this week only $2.50 , what a bargin.

Papers are Bearly Mine Designs Happy Haunting just look at those gorgeous spiders, coloured with copics, Nesties to cut out the image, I made the cobweb with some black thread and a needle, black and orange bazill bazics.

Hi there, we have a great new sketch for you today at Friday sketch challenge. by Carole

isn't it a great one, I chose Floppy from make it crafty one of my favorite digi's, I decided to use just one colour for this card, not sure why?!! just felt like it. lol. make it crafty digi's are great to colour you can rarely lose yourself in them.

I used K & Co paper, Nestie's, EK swirl punch, Joy rub on from HOTP, clear gems and a little bell on a ribbon my Sister gave me. We have two sponsors this week, and you have two weeks to get your entries in.

Hi there, thought I'd carry on with my Christmas cards since I had my papers out, I'm such an untidy crafter they will probably still be out in March, I wish I could tidy up as I go, but I only get a bit of time in my Bat Cave and I feel like I'm being deprived of crafting time if I stop to tidy up, every now and then (probably once a month) I have a splurge and go mad tidying, then for the next few weeks I can't find anything.

Here I have used a Saturated Canary image, coloured with copics,random spots of pearlescent pearl drops, nestie's, Marianne flower die, Memory box holly vine die, Whimsy ticket die, pearl brad, clear gems, glitter and the sentiment is a Christmas ticket from digital delights by louby loo I was lucky enough to win a challenge and my prize was a voucher from Digital Delights so I got these tickets and a cute penguin.

The Paper Shelter #83 Ooops #84

Hi there, we have a great theme for you this week at The paper shelter it's

"Distressing"

I must say I'm a bit out of my comfort zone with this theme, I've tried really hard, in fact I even bought myself  a little tool, but I don't like scuffing up my papers. Guess thats just the way I am!!!

But I'm looking forward to seeing yours.

I chose Holy Night coloured with copics, the doggies I layered up,the lace was a bargin from the Yorkshire Trading Mill only 60p for 5 meters, the sentiment is from Flowersoft, I chalked the edges to givea distressed look.

just messing about

Hi there, I've seen quite a few of these baby onesies in blogland recently and thought I would have a go, it was my great niece Mariah's birthday so made one for her, I used pearlesent card that I embossed , various nesties for the bib and leg frills. I think I might do my next one with a little animal stamped on the bib and maybe a pocket.

Hope you've had a good weekend, I ended up working for most of mine, plus were decorating the bedroom so of course the whole house is upside down, we had to sleep in the spare room last night, which is upstairs, and it totally confused the poor dogs.

Hi there, the theme this week at the paper shelter is "Autumn"

and I must say the leaves in our village are certainly turning, and with the nights drawing in 

it is definitely getting Autumnal .

Hiya, we have a great sketch over at friday sketch challenge this week the lovely Jaqueline designed this one,

you get two weeks to use it so no rush, I got this free teddy stamp in a magazine a few weeks ago and thought it would be a great sketch to use it on.

I coloured with copics, used  Making Memories papers, cuttlebug folder,brown and blue ric rac, the pom poms are on a ribbon so I just cut them off, and a Personal Impressions sentiment stamp.

Meerkats

Hi there, I made this for one of my friends, we go swimming together and she has just got some swimming goggles, she swims under water for about 10 yards then sticks her head out the water to get a breath and have a look around then down she goes again, its so funny to watch and she has now earned the name Meerkat

I found this digi at papercraft inspirations it was a freebie by Angela Poole, thank you Angela.

I coloured it with copics, glaze pen and glitter on the cake. The papers are from Dovecraft and a pearl pen.

It's been scorching here this weekend like the middle of Summer, yet all the leaves on the trees are turning ready for Autumn. Still best make the most of it whilst its here, the dogs have had some extra long walks in the fields so they are both snoring at the moment.

Papelitos Challenge#10

Hi there, its new release day over at PapelitosStamps, and I have used this gorgeous Gladiator one, I must say it took me a couple of goes before I got the gold colour I wanted, the I had a senior moment and put my copics away before I'd written down the numbers, dooh!,

This week at Papelitos Stamps Challenge the theme is "Anything Goes" a nice easy one,

the sentiment is a strip of rolled up paper, I'd been trawling the net looking for a scroll digi then I had a brain storm and made my own, must say I was pleased with the effect, used a mixture of my minds eye papers, distressed with ink,  blue gems and ribbon, nesties and a personal impressions sentiment.

 Hi there, can you believe its two weeks since the last friday sketch challenge, how this year is flying buy,

We have a great sketch for you this week by the talented Cordine, you can flip twist, rotate as long as we can still see the sketch your good to go.

 This is my first Christmas card, I bought this gorgeous holly border die and really wanted to use it, its a memory box one I think they are so delicate, it looked lovely in gold mirri card.

The digi image is from Tiddly inks, coloured with copics, clear gems, papers from Lidl, red glitter card off my sister, Personal Impressions sentiment stamp, snowflake die from sissex.

First week back at work after my week off and I can't believe how tired I feel, must have been all that relaxing I did.lol.

Papelitos Challenge

Hi there, I have some good news for you, last week I was asked if I'd like to join the Papelitos Design Team,  of course I said yes, then the next day I was asked to join another DT, it always seems to come at once, unfortunetly there are only so many hours of playtime in a day so I had to decline the second one.

Papelitos Stamps are a company I found a few weeks ago, My Peter card from last week is one of Cristinas stamps, she is a very talented artist and a massive variety of stamps for all tastes, she is also adding plenty of new images as well. If you pop over to the papelitos stamps challenge blog you can see the wonderful creations from my fellow DT's. The theme this week is "Pretty in Pink" and I chose Machamama , isn't she great, I cooured her with copics and prismas, used K & Co papers, and pink gems, I found an old feather charm and some beads to make my embellies with. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I'm sure she's pretty in someones eyes.lol.

The Paper Shelter #78 Anything Goes

Hiya, its time for the challenge over at the paper shelter, and this week its everybody's favorite "Anything Goes". I chose Unusual Friends for my image, I coloured it with copics, used K & Co papers, a metal Friends brad that I coloured with copics, Nesties, Fiskars border punch and some pearls from my stash.

I'm really enjoying my break so far, except for this afternoon when my laptop broke!!!!!!!!!!! I spent four hours trying to fix it, with my very limited knowledge, then succombe and took it into Skegness for the little man to fix, my hubby has let me borrow his so I can post my blog, with strict instructions NOT to go on Facebook or he won't let me use it again, {but he is in the other room, he he he}

Hi there, guess what I'm on Holiday YAY!!!!!!!!!

I'm not going anywhere, but I get to do what I want for a full 8days cause Monday is a Bank holiday as well great timing for once.

Well I found this new digi site, well new to me any way, and its called Papelitos Stamps, there are a wonderful assortment of styles on there, something for everyone. I chose this one its called Peter, and it so reminds me of all the kids going to art college in Lincoln.

I've coloured him with copics , used Basic Grey Pyrus Papers, Tim Hotz embossing folder,and Personal Impressions sentiment stamp, Papermania Kraft card. The twine I got free on a magazine ages ago.

Friday Sketch Challenge #24

Hi there, it was my turn to draw the sketch for this fortnights challenge at Friday sketch, I hope you like it, and have tie to join us, it  runs for two weeks. You can turn rotate anything as long as we can still see the sketch your good to go. We are lucky enough to have two sponsors again.

We've been really busy at work this week, trying to get our work done so we can have a week off, that's one of the drawbacks working for yourself, you don't get paid holidays so we need to get two weeks work done in one so that we get wages for our week off, trouble is your so tired you can't be bothered to do much on your hols, but the break will be brill and I'm hoping to send some time with my family. perfect. and  not forgetting a crafty hour or two.

Hi there, I thought I'd share my Fifty Shades card with you, I thought the sketch  over at sketch and stash this week was perfect for this lovely digi from saturated-canary by Krista Smith called Grey Tie

I'm on book three at the moment, my Dad actually read them and really enjoyed them,lol.

He has one of those kindles and books are much cheaper, but personally I don't think you can beat the feel of a  book in your hand,

The Paper Shelter #76

Hi there, we have a great theme this week at the paper shelter its all about "circles"

I used Elf Knight , I chose this because it was the closest thing I had to a Horse racing theme,

It was my sons Birthday this week and we went to the racers to celebrate, I must say it was such fun , I've never been before and I really enjoyed it, there was only six races but I didn't manage to oick one single winner, in one race there was only four horses and mine still came last, but at least the jockey managed to stay on for that race.

Still back to my card, I coloured it with copics, used K & Co papers, nesties, Little Claire sentiment stamp, 3D laquer, and Button border die from Memory box.

The Paper Shelter #74 Metal Embellishments

hi there,i' m sorry  i'm late with this weeks post, no excuse  just completely forgot!!!!!!

Well I think Summer has arrived in the UK, its so hot I can't get in my Bat Cave, its in the attic and gets all the sun from dinner time, I don't  get to play until evening so its like an oven by then.

 This weeks challenge the paper shelter is to add metal embellies. I've had these in my bit box for years, so I'm pleased I finally found a project to use them on. 

I've used HappyTimes Beach Boy coloured with copics , can't remember where the paper is from, ribbon from my stash, metal anchor and starfish,Little Clare sentiment and Nestie.

Friday Sketch Challenge #22

Hi there, this weeks gorgeous sketch was designed by my lovely teamie Shirley

I used Drop Tree from FlonzCraft embossed with blak embossing powder, the background is brayered  with  a Kaliedercolor ink pad, Basi Grey papers, black cobweb lace, Nesties, Marrianne poinsetta Die and papermania brads.

I must say it's been ages since I used my heat gun and I really enjoyed it, this stamp was just crying out to be embossed, think I might do it again in gold, it might also make a good Christmas card if I pop a partridge on it. Wow the old cogs are spinning now!!

Hi there, I didn't think I was going to get this card made in time, we are so busy at work and the weeks seem to be passing as if they were days, I took the photo at night so the colours havn't quite come out right, it is much more purple than it appears, but at least I got it done in time, I'm waffling now, so,
