Hi there, well the gardeners will be pleased, weve had loads of rain today, pity it had to come on my day off. Never happy am I not much of a gardener either.lol. Still I managed to take a load of rubbish to the tip, been meaning to do it for ages but it was one of those jobs you keep putting off.


Got my second wedding card finished this one I did in silver, white and pink. I used a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with my copics, first edition paper, white pearlesent card and silver mirri board, white voile, little pearl heart ribbon sliders, nesties, pearl brads, flowers from stash.

Hi there, what great Fathers Day cards there was last week, this week the theme at The Paper Shelter is "Celebrate" lots of scope for you there.

I chose Dragons Birthday which is a great image as you can use it for a boy or girl depending on your colours.

I coloured it with copics, used First Edition papers, Marrianne die cut for the flowers, Nesties, ribbon from stash, and a LOTV sentiment stamp.

Hi there, I was asked to make a couple of wedding cards this week, so here is the first. I decided to do easel cards, I always think they are a bit special for a special occasion.


Used a LOTV stamp, First Edition Papers, gold mirri card, leaves, roses and pearls from stash, ribbon and brads

I chose this colour scheme because its what I had and was feeling a bit sentimental for some reason!

VW Camper

Hi there, I went to the Lincoln Sincerely Yours Craft show on Sunday and amongst my other goodies I brought this camper stamp, I just had to have it because just last week we were looking at buying one. We hav'nt, far to much money, but at least I could afford this one.

Hi there, well we've had a right wet weekend here but its not stopped the holidaymakers Skegness has been heaving.

Hi there, well I have no ironing in the house left to do, even the little piles I usually hide, all done, well pleased with myself, mind you I've got a load in the washer to go out in the morning so its not very long lived.
Here's a card I finished last night, itsanother one of Mo's digi's coloured with copics, used a Martha Stewart Border punch, Scraphouse rub on, nesties and some heart pearlsfrom my stash.

I can remember dancing like this with my Dad, well similar he used to let me stand on his feet while he danced, he wouldn't be doing that now. lol. I'd give him flat feet. When it was our birthdays and we had a party he would do a special dance as the rubber man it was so funny, al my friends wated him to go to thier parties as well, I'm so lucky with my parents they are the best. Sorry getting a bit sentimental today for some reason.

Hi there, I managed to get a card finished tonight, Yay, I seem too have so many projects half finished at the moment, not quite sure why. Still they'll get done eventually.
This is a new digi i found at The Emerald Faerie Garden they are so cute. I coloured it with copics, used Diamond Glaze on the wings, I'm not sure what the papers are I got them out of a sale bin at the NEC a few years ago now, I've nearly used them all, which is a pity cause there gorgeous, the flower is a woodware punch six layers held together with an old brad. The letters are rub ons from doodlebug.
Weve had quite an eventfull couple of days, the water main burst right outside our house, it looked like a river running past, at one point it was just a yard from our door, the fire brigade came and pumped out a few of our neighbours that was not quite as lucky as us and did get flooded, the pub down the road and the chip shop both got flooded aswell. They've managed to mend the pipes now and the road is open again, thank goodness.

I think I could get used to these long weekends, especially when the weather is so lovely, we went to get Hubbies birds today, a pair of grey zebra fiches a pair of black cheeked zebra's and a pair of chocolate bengalese finches. Next month were getting some canaries, there my favorite they sing beautifully.

An Ode to Mum

Hi there, this week at The Paper Shelter we have the theme "An Ode to Mum" so what a better way to tell Mum how much she means to you. The winner gets a $15 gift voucher if you use a Paper Shelter image.
