Autumn Elf from Aurora Wings

I decided to make a wall hanging with the wonderful Autumn Elf from Aurora Wings

She is so gorgeous and a dream to colour with all those yummy leaves.

I coloured her with my copics, list below, the frame I made out of Kraft card embossed using Sheena Douglass wood folder and Gilding wax. The grapes, eyes and butterfly is lacquered.

Hi there, what a bad blogger I've been just lately, my gorgeous fur baby Mickey, had to have a lump removed from his groin, and because of where it is his stitches keep popping, then he got an infection, so last time they put some dis-solvable ones in and they haven't worked either, it's a full time job watching him 24 hours a day as he wants to rub himself on the floor, it is certainly a good job I work from home cause I don't know what I would have done if I went out to work. He looks so sorry for himself in his lampshade collar.

Little Kitsune Anko New release from Aurora Wings

Wow, I can't believe it's been 11 days since my last post, where does the time go.

Mitzi has been busy, she has provided us with this gorgeous little lady

If you pop across to the Aurora wings showcase .blog. you can see what all my teamies have made, 

you will certainly be amazed.

I decided to colour the image up in four different colours and  make a screen.

The papers I've had for about 10 years, they are made of some sort of fibre, in real life the gold colour really shines. For the bottom of the screen I used a labels die and a border for the top.

I die cut a tree shape and trimmed it down to fit, then attached these little resin flowers with a diamante in the middle of each one.

My sister used to sell these fan charms in her craft shop.so it would have been rude not to buy any.

Didn't think this one needed much, so just attached a tassle.

This is a knot I made using Mizuhiki paper cord, If I remember rightly this is the Daki Awabi Musubi , Double Clamshell, it's also one of the easiest to make, I must admit I was a bit rusty it's been years since I have tied any knots and it also took just as long to find my box with the cord in, if you could see the state of my craft room you would understand,

I will get my colours down after the weekend, i have so much paperwork to do.

Danny's Birthday

Hi there, I have a clean and simple card today, it was my nephews birthday and I always struggle  with a subject for them, I decided on Mr Roboto from Tiddly Inks this is a great image.

I fancied doing a fairly clean card so i chose to use just grey and blue as my colour scheme.

Hello there, I can't believe how quick this year is going, I'm already starting on my Easter cards, I've gone all pink and girly for this one. I seem to have been using a lot of blue this week I had 10 thank you cards in blue, my brothers birthday and a sympathy card, so I think I've earned the right to be girly. lol.

I've found a wonderful new digi company on Etsy, it's brand new only opened this month, the artist is Jeremiah Ketner and you can find his shop small and round HERE this image is called Spirals, isn't she dreamy, and a pleasure to colour. I'm feeling a tad disappointed today, I ordered myself some new colouring pencils of ebay and they should have arrived today, I had some images printed off ready to play, but alas they didn't arrive, hopefully I will get happy mail tomorrow.

Hi there, I've had a really relaxing weekend, which I must say makes a very pleasant change, I even found time to have a tidy up in my craft room. Something a little different

Hi there, something a bit different today, I had a wonderful photo of my Granddaughter Amelie blowing a dandelion clock and wanted to make a feature of it. Whilst I was walking round our local poundland I found this unusual frame, so snatched it up and had a play.

I have used Isabella First Edition papers, the poem I found on the internet, an old locket, the wooden A I coloured with copics and then glitter, the laser cut seed head was coloured and just the ends laquered and then glittered, the frame it self I stamped the fern and dragonflies using Stazon.
