Friday Sketch Challenge #14

Zarna has designed us a lovely sketch this fortnight, for the Friday sketch challenge .

 I've used a stamp set I've had for at least six years, it was one of  the first ones I bought.

Coloured with copics, First edition Spring papers, Nellie snellen die cut, Scraphouse Rub on and a bit of ribbon.

The Paper Shelter #56 Paper Piecing

Hi ya, hope your all well, its Wednesday so that means its  the paper shelter challenge, and this week we have "Paper Piecing"

Just a quick post as I'm having a new Combi gas boiler fitted, and I still need to empty my airing cupboard, not sure where I'm going to put everything yet, my table and bath are full, Mum says I should chuck it all out and buy some new towels I must say a few of them are wedding pressies and that's 34 years ago now. (Child Bride, Lol) So they are past there best, Just sentimental I guess.

I have chosen "Executive Woman" for my card, coloured with copics, nesties, Marrianne flower die, EK flower punch and some clear gems.

Hi there, I hope all you Mums out there have had a lovely Mothers Day : )

I had this gorgeous bouquet , I'm just so very, very, lucky to have two Wonderful, Healthy , Happy, Loving, Sons that I love to bits, and a gorgeous Daughter in Law too, every day is Mothers Day to me .

Finished yet another Easter card, this is defo my last Lol

I've used another digi from the paper shelter , this one is called "A Great Mom"

I coloured it with copics, used my new first editions Spring papers, some ribbon and these little gems I've had for years.

Friday Sketch Challenge #13

Hi there, its time for challenge number 13 this week designed by Bron, isn't it awesome!

Here is my card, I'm on the last of my Easter cards now. This one is using  Dressed up as the Easter Bunny from the paper shelter , I coloured with copics used DCWV papers, some white cobweb lace, and sakura stardust pens on the eggs.

Mothers Day

Hi, hope you've had a good weekend, the weather here has been fantastic, I could stand it like this all year round. Here's a card I made last week and just ran out of time to pop it on.

I was sorting through my wooden mounted stamps to see which ones i was going to remove the wood from when I found this stamp, it was one of the very first stamps I brought. I haven't used it for years and had forgotten how pretty it was. I coloured it with copics used my new Grand nesties to make the card base and mounting, the paper is a freebie from a magazine and the sentiment a rub on from scrap house.

Easter Bag

Hi there, I thought I'd make a bag to put my boys Easter Eggs in. It was a bag I got from the Health store the other day, so I made a panel to cover the brand name.

I used  Easter Bunny from the paper shelter coloured him with copics, used Papermania papers, Nesties, EK Border punch, some prima flowers I've had for ages, orange brads and a bit of yellow ribbon.

Morning everyone, well winter has surely returned here, I hope things are a bit warmer were ever you are.

Guess what, I've gone all technical, yesterday I did my first ever Skype call, my son and dil are in Florida for a few weeks and we thought we could keep in touch with Skype , it is amazing, to be able to talk and see them so far away and so clear, plus it doesn't cost anything. I might see if my other son that lives about an hour away has got it, I might get to see more of him then. lol.

Anyway enough of my rambling, here we have this weeks sketch from icsketches

Lots of possabilities with this one, I twisted it on its side, used K&Co paper, EK Border punch, paper doilie, pearls, lace, nesties, Saturated Canary Digis, coloured with copics.

Easter

Hi there, I hope you've had a great weekend, believe it or not we've had snow today, it's been raining all day then at tea time it turned to snow, yet in the week it was gorgeous sunshine didn't even need a coat to walk my dogs, Oh well that's England for you.

I found this old Penny Black stamp in my box , I haven't used it for ages and couldn't resist showing it the ink pad, I coloured with copics, scraphouse rub on and I'm afraid I've forgot who made the papers.

Hi there, we have a lovely sketch for friday sketch challenge this fortnight, it was designed by the talented Genevieve, I loved using it and its ideal if you have some scrap strips to use up.

I chose this playful little dragon from Aisne, coloured with copics, leaves are cut using a spellbinders foliage die, scraphouse rub on, and freebie papers. I turned the sketch on its end.
