Hi there, here we have this weeks sketch from icsketches,

I really like this one and have already used it twice, this card is for my brother in law, I always have a problem with his cards as he doesn't have any hobbies or even follow a sport, he has been moaning about getting old so i thought I'd rub it in a bit and make him a card with an old man on it, might stop him moaning I don't think so.

I've coloured him with copics used Retro Forever Friends papers, Martha Stewart border punch and a making memories sentiment stamp.

The Paper Shelter #48 Pearls & Swirls

Hi there, well that was a nice break, we had some amazing entries into the paper shelter DT call, I'm afraid I'm having problems commenting at the moment, don't know why, so i apologise if I didn't get to you.

The theme this week is Swirls and Pearls I used Enchanted Love

I coloured with copics, used First Edition Papers, pink pearl card, making memories swirl die cut, pearls and glitter on the wings.

This is one of my fave digi's, but there are loads of new romantic ones out, even a couple of fish having a little smooch. lol.

Hi there, I've had a lovely weekend, my Son and Daughter in law came to stay and we had a great relaxing time, last time they came it was Christmas and everything was manic, what with visiters and us going visiting.

They will be back again in a month so thats not too long, the way the weeks seem to be flying by at the moment. Anyway down to my card, this little fella reminds me of my other Son, he's 32 this year but still has his skateboard, I don't think he rides it that much anymore but he really loved it when he was younger, its a Saturated Canary Digi cooured with copics, K&Co papers, a little baseball hat charm and Nesties with my EK Corner punch. Quite a plain card really but the papers are busy and I didn't want to distract from the image to much, afterwards I thought it would make a nice mothers day card from her little angel.

Hi there, it doesn't take long to get back into a routine does it, Christmas seems ages ago now, I was talking with my SIL and she has already got 10 presents bought and wrapped for next year, I think you can be a bit too organised some times.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

I hope you've all recovered from the celebrations and you havn't slipped from your New Year Resolutions yet, one of mine this year is to try and keep my craft space a bit tidyer, I'm really lucky and have a three metre long workbench but always end up with a six inch square to work in, with stuff piled up round me, I darn't even sneeze in case it all came tumbling down. Well yesterday I threw four bags and one box of rubbish away, the bin men won't be here till tomorow so my Hubby wont let me out to the bin in case I bring something back again that i've discovered I can't live without.

Anyway onto this weeks challenge at icsketches, you can pick your own sketch this week, from any where not just our sketch's, remember to leave a link from where its from though.

Hi there, its been a funny day here, I went to see my sister who's in Lincoln about 40 miles away and it was thick fog there and back, makes it a really long depressing drive, even the dogs came back from our walk wet through. But on a brighter note I managed to get a couple of hours in my Bats Cave, I know its a bit different to my usual stuff, but we had these new digi's in at spesch stamps This is Alice in Zombieland, one of a set of four, I've just coloured the Mad Hatter so he's next then its Queenie and the cat.

I coloured her with copics used 7 Gypsies paper Nesties swirl and ovals, some blue gems and ribbon. It was a really nice break from Christmas cards.

I hope you've had a good weekend plus an extra hour if you live in the UK, I must admit I was a lazy moo and had an extra lay in bed this morning, weve had such a busy week I was really in need of one.

The weather has been gorgeous here, very mild and no wind, I see on the news there is bad snow in America! It's also my Dads Birthday so even more fun, yes a really good weekend for me.

Hi there, can't believe its two weeks since the last friday sketch challenge

We have another great sketch for you this week designed by Tracy, and remember two full weeks to enter.

I thought I'd try and get motivated for Christmas, finding it really difficult this year.

I love this cute little chap from Tickled Pink, I coloured him with copics, used kraft paper embossed with the baubles cuttlebug folder and some lined kraft paper behind, I inked the edges to give it a bit of a distressed look, used a bit of stock ribbon and some red gems, I made the sentiment up on my lap top, oops nearly forgot theres a bit of glitter on the snowmans hat.

Hi there, I've had a lovely day today. I met up with my bestest friends and we all went to a craft show at Lincoln, spent far too much money on things I really couldn't do without, then had a yummy meal on the way home, a perfect end to a really busy week.

I don't know if you've been or not but theres a megatalented lady out there called Krista Smith and she has the most amazing digi's, you can buy them from Saturated Canary but be warned they are so addictive.

Coloured it with copics, and sakura pens, added a bit of glamour dust, used DCWV Street Lace papers, some black velvet ribbon, a double heart charm, gem brads and the flowers I made using a Marianne Die Cut.

Twins Christening

Hi there, I was asked to make a Christening card for twin girls so I used this cute digi from Mos and duplicated it to make two. I coloured it slightly with copics and used Glamour dust on the trim. The card is made up of white and pink pearlescent card I've embossed the white with a Sissex embossing plate and glamour dusted the flower centres, I then used a bit of stock pink and white spotty organser ribbon and two little silver Teddy charms, with a few gems in the corners.

Hiya, someone asked me to make a card for her daughter that is opening an ecquestrian and clothing shop called Tally Ho! this week. So i thought this LOTV stamp would be perfect. Hi there, I'm all behind with my blogging today, we had major power cuts in our village last night, it still wasn't back on when we went to bed and that wasn't untill midnight, then I over slept this morning because my electric alarm clock wasn't set, so I'm posting this in my teabreak from work.LOL. Good job my husband is my boss.

It's anything goes week at The Paper Shelter , so have fun, it would be great to see you use some Paper Shelter images and if you do you have the chance of winning a $15 gift voucher, that would buy loads more.

Hiya, its really cold and miserable today, but at est its not raining, weve been car hunting today, I really don't like shopping for cars, so many things to consider, and a husband who's a closet boy racer!!! But I think weve found one we both like, only down side is its an automatic but the lovely car salesman took me for a lesson and as long as I tie my left foot to the floor I'll be fine. lol. no really I was quite surprised at how easy it is to drive.
This card was for a little boy's first birthday, I used the free digi of the month from Kenny K, coloured wth copics used DCWV Nanas Nursery paper, ribbon and button from stash.

Another great new digi due out on the 8th at Spesch Stamps , this one is called Mushroom Flower by Jessica, she was a dream to colour, and so gorgeous to boot.
I coloured her with copics, used brown bazill, first edition papers,Best wishes rub on, I made the flowers using Marianne dies, you can't see them in the photo but I put a pink gem in the centre of each flower, really sets them off.

Hi today is Day 1 of the new release preview over at Spesch Designer Stamps , we have six new releases out on the 8th all by the mega talented Jessica, you can see all the DT's cards at Spesch Stamps Blog . Todays preview is Strawberry girl, perfect for this time of year when I'm eating Strawberries nearly everyday, just can't get enough of them at the moment.

Hiya, another Wedding easel card, this time I used a Bella stamp, highlighted with copics, DCWV Nursery paper, white voile, diamante heart slider, clear gems, nesties, brads and paper flowers.

Just had a lovely week off work, a chill out week, had a few days out and family came to stay, no crafting done though. I'll have to make up for that this week. Did do a bit of crafting shopping, ahhhhh, its not a holiday unless I find a new craft shop. We have a new shop opened about 40 miles away in Lincoln called The Range and they have a few crafting goodies.

Hi there. A really easy one for you this week at The Paper Shelter the theme is "Anything Goes"

I fancied doing something a bit different, so i bought a cheap note book from The Works and turned it into a Journal.

I like to write my thoughts down when things are upin the air, helps me to make some sort of sence of things if you read it back a day or two later.

I used Mushroom Castle from TPS this week, coloured with copics, 7 Gypsies Paper, I made a frame out of two square Delish chipboard frames that I coloured black, the sentiment is a Delish Rub On, Journal is Go Kreate Die Cuts, EK punch swirls and some red gems, I topped it with a bit of gold velvet ribbon I pinched of my Sister

Hi there, I'm so excited, I'm a great Aunty , my nephew and his wife gave birth to a gorgeus little girl on 23rd June she was 8lb 1oz and they have called her Libby Jay, I can't wait for my first cuddle, Ive managed to knit her three cardi's and a banket. I might get down to some card making now she's arrived.

Wedding 2

Hi there, well the gardeners will be pleased, weve had loads of rain today, pity it had to come on my day off. Never happy am I not much of a gardener either.lol. Still I managed to take a load of rubbish to the tip, been meaning to do it for ages but it was one of those jobs you keep putting off.

Got my second wedding card finished this one I did in silver, white and pink. I used a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with my copics, first edition paper, white pearlesent card and silver mirri board, white voile, little pearl heart ribbon sliders, nesties, pearl brads, flowers from stash.
