Sprocket man

Hiya, been playing a bit more, a couple of years ago I bought one of those desk tidies that spin round and they have drawers underneath, the top is in compartments, well I couldn't fit all my pens in one section so I took one of the walls out to make two into one, I had this bit of mdf on my book shelf all this time (you can tell from that admition how often I tidy up). So I put it to good use.

I painted the said piece of wood with gesso, once dry I applied texture paste through an Imagination Diamond stencil, once that dried I stamped over it using frayed burlap distress ink  and a dotty stamp.
The gentleman is another Imagination Stencil using Black star  Sparkle medium on black card, I cut him out and attached to the board, the cogs are an All occasions die on black cardstock and then dry brushed with a bit of platinum acrylic paint. Really pleased with the way it turned out, not bad for a bit of a mdf.

Not a Christmas card.

Hi there, well I'm supposed to be tidying my craft room, but, thought I would show you what I've been playing with instead
I received this canvas board  in one of the lovely Craft boxes, a monthly box full of gorgeous yummyness , that I got a few months ago.
So I painted it with Gesso, then using a leaf stencil I Texture pasted it through, once dry  I used the same stencil and painted platinum Starlight's paint through. The chipboard frame is from Delish, this got a layer of Gesso and then stamped with a swirl, the picture is a miniature postcard I've had for years, the leaves are made from paper clay, there's also bead string, ribbon, pearls, cheesecloth and some paper flowers from Wild Orchid. hope you like, I would love to here your thoughts.

Take to the Slopes, New Release

Hiya, here is my card I made using All Dressed Up's new release
this one is called Take to the slopes and can be found HERE

I coloured her with copics to match this scrap of Christmas paper I've had in my bit box for a couple of years, I knew it would come in handy one day.
Joy snowflake border die in silver glitter card ans a Sentiment die.
I can't believe how quick Christmas has appeared, I'm sure it was Halloween last week.
I'm really looking forward to the Christmas break, I have a full week off, I think it will take me all week to get my craft room in some sort of order, I also want to have a play with my Mixed Media supplies, really looking forward to that. Hubby says hes buying me a clock for my craftroom for Christmas, as I don't wear a watch and never know what time it is to come out, it's getting later and later, he joked about getting me a bed for in here, well I think it was a joke.
